The hotel is a bit old school which is good and bad at the same time (a bit dated). What I loved the most was the private onsen in our room - incredibly relaxing and you can enjoy a couple of cold beers in the hot tub. Also, the location is just incredible, hiking in the mountains was incredible - I got some nice pictures and a good workout walking around.

The private onsen was amazing, nice view from the room, breakfast and dinner were very good japanise style with good serving - staff from the restaurant was super good, foot bath inside the building was great, bus station right at the hotel.

Extremely friendly and helpful staffs that made our stay a memorable and enjoyable one! It seems like a small-scale, family-run ryokan which turns out to be our best stay of the trip.
