The room was so spacious and the bathroom had a private sauna! That was the best feature in my opinion. Everything was clean and comfortable and the hotel was quiet so we could rest well. The drip coffee provided in the room was very good! The parking was also very comfortable.

The staff was amazing! Incredibly helpful and accommodating. They really went the extra mile to get you whatever you need. That part of my stay was great. I didn’t try the onsen but it looked very nice

We came to Gotemba because we wanted a base from which to climb Fuji and the hotels offered an onsen which was far more reasonable that some of the other hotels in area.
There is a bus that runs from the train station to the 5th station where you can start your climb - just make sure you exit the station on the right side! (left as you come up the stairs from the trains)
Most useful if you've got a car otherwise I think I'd have stayed elsewhere

The Premium Outlets are a must see and you could spend all day there. Also, there are MASSIVE discounts for tourists (DEC 2022). The lava caves were also a great thing to see if you have extra time! The only bad thing about Gotemba are that the transportation is a bit tricky! The safari zoo was also pretty great. Try to get on the bus! You can feed lions!

We found the hotel was easy to locate and noticed several signs with the hotel and the distance (kilometers) to the hotel. Hotel parking area was conveniently located near the elevators and with good lighting. We found a great yakiniku place within a 10 min. drive from the hotel and saw many other options for places to eat. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful on explaining the hotel facilities. If we stayed for more than one night we would have been interested if there were places within walking distance of the hotel.

I lived there for 7 months 3 years and some change ago, but with COVID-19, the city has taken a big hit. Tourists were there, but not as many as before. The places I'd recommend to eat at before are no longer there, too. If you're considering coming to Gotemba, thoroughly do your research and partake of neighboring cities like Mishima, Numazu, Hakone, and Odawara.

You could use it as a base to visit afew places everyday or choose to stay at those places as well. The Tourist Visitor Information Ctr at the back of gotemba station where the airport shuttle would drop you is very friendly and helpful.

Great base for trekking Mt Fuji.
Great base for trekking Mt Fuji. Beautiful landscapes and Outlet Shopping!
We also went to the Fuji Speedway, which is a short distance away. Fortunately for us, there was the added bonus of actual racing going on!
The view of Mt. Fuji from this hotel is unbeatable. You do have to wake up early in order to see Mt. Fuji (by 7:00am, the cloud moves in to cover the mountain). You can see the full glory of Mt. Fuji with its villages underneath and a big blue sky in the background. The outdoor onsen was fantastic. You'll be able to see Mt. Fuji while you soak in an onsen tub outside. There is a racing car simulation in the basement. (kinda like a really fancy video game) Though expensive, my boys had a grand time playing.
The location is good and it is not very far from the outlet if shopping is in your itinerary/plans. There is a nice rooftop deck where you can enjoy a view of Mt. Fuji while soaking your feet in warm water, which was great for us since we were there during winter. Onsen was clean, and there's free ice cream for guest to enjoy after their onsen session. If you can read Japanese, there is a nice reading corner filled with a good selection of manga comics. Plus points for free soba in the evening!
Fascinating guesthouse/inn style of accommodation. Very clean and comfortable with the star obviously being the cinema screen all to yourself. The owner was extremely accommodating and available when you needed him. Location is unbeatable, and you’re able to see the station from the entrance. Clearly a passion project for the owner - it’s definitely worth a visit and recommended over the generic business hotels that litter the area.
A nice well presented hotel, with a viewing deck of Mount Fuji. Just over 1 Km from Station (1000 Yen taxi). 20 minute walk to the amazing international Peace Buddhist Temple with spectacular views of Mount Fuji. There are male and female Onsons included in the Tarrif and breakfast is only an extra 760YEN each.
Shop and convenience stores close by.
The Mt Fuji view was great. Newly opened hotel that is clean and the breakfast also had good variety. Room slightly small but clean and comfortable. Staff helpful. The location is good for those who drive and want to go Gotemba Premium Outlets but it was quite a walk from the bus stop or train station.
the hotel is still new, everything is nice and the facilities are clean, loved the breakfast buffet. close to gotemba train station and bus station going to hakone or mt fuji. It also have a view of Mt fuji in your room on a clear day
Quiet property with nice hot springs. Relatively large room with very spacious bathroom where I even can practice swings. There’s also a balcony and massage chair! And its the hotel Tiger Woods stayed.
Location is so strategic, we could go to gotemba outlet, fujiten snowpark and tokyo by bus from the bus station near from the hotel, only few mins walk.
