We stayed for 3 nights in this brand-new guesthouse, which opened in June 2025.
The rooms were very comfortable and spotless, and the bathrooms and common areas were also impeccably clean and well equipped to make guests feel at home. The value for money is unbeatable.
The host is a wonderful person: kind, respectful, and very welcoming. One evening he even invited us to join him at a local restaurant where we could try unique island specialties (such as goat sashimi and other delicacies).
Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and authentic stay.

We absolutely loved this place. The owner is really kind and helping with everything you need. It's a charming old building near the best beaches. There is a store and coffee shop nearby. Great place to just relax and enjoy the surrounding nature and beauty of Yoron. We would definitely go again.❤️

The beaches are GORGEOUS.
The beaches are GORGEOUS. I made a full trip around the perimeter over the course of my stay, and each side of the island has a different feel. I would recommend visiting at least 2 different sides when you visit. Yurigahana and the beaches on the east side are pretty, but I personally liked the beaches on the north, such as Terasaki Beach.
The locals are friendly and welcoming, and restaurant owners all were happy to chat. I made friends with the owner of 蒼い珊瑚礁, a soba noodle restaurant and gift shop, who took me to the historic burial grounds to make an offering to the old bones there. I had a drink of sake with the dead and helped collect some bones into a neat pile.
