We were delighted to find our room so clean and well decorated. Antoinette had made towel swans and even a towel frog for our kids. She had filled the jacuzzi with rose petals in the shape of a heart and balloons. It was such a great welcome to a beautiful house with a beautiful host. She was always available to help and give advice. She walked with us and showed us all the shops, she even drove us to the beach and helped us with our laundry.

Host Anne Marie was fantastic, attentive to needs and always tried to sort any issues. Unfortunately I was unwell during my stay and she was very helpful.

We had a kitchen so we made most of our meals. That being said, groceries are not cheap in Jamaica!
Amazing seafood meal at Bashment bar and grill, a little shack on discovery bay beach!!! Don’t let the place fool you, it was the best seafood I have had near Runaway bay for a decent price.
Driving is not for the weak in Jamaica, it is a busy road often many delays and can take some time to get to where you are going.
But overall, such a beautiful country with the best people.

I liked the view, the general structure of the property. I didn't like how lazy some staff seemed, specifically the person to whom complaints are filed. Attitudes of some female staff needs work.

Check-in was horrendous, it took them 1-2 hours to get us to our room. Be prepared for a reception that is not ready for guests and were almost surprised we turned up despite paying for the entire stay in advance. Fortunately, I had printed a hard copy of the booking otherwise I'd be spending the night sleeping on the beach. Phone the hotel directly was futile as they never pick up the phone. Surprisingly this was the same from the actual room. Security is pretty hostile to paying guests and if you have a car prepare for no parking spaces if you even get let in. On Fridays there is a Sound System outside the hotel playing at 80-90 decibels and the hotel does nothing about it go luck trying to get some sleep. The hotel has an empty disco playing at around 70 decibels till 2am every night. By the way noise above 70 dB over a prolonged period of time may start to damage your hearing. Loud noise above 120 dB can cause immediate harm to your ears. Be prepared to supply your own beach towels. Room towel and bed sheets are not changed daily. The was built in 1958 and the room safe is from the late 80s. Food is acceptable but they seldom have the national dish of Ackee and Salt Fish and the bar runs out of Wray and Nephew white rum by noon daily.

The location was convenient for me and since I had planned on being away from the apartment for extended time, this type of facility was ideal over an all inclusive option. Was there for 17 nights but visited friends and relatives in two other parishes, so was actually there for just about a third of my stay. I found the staff to be courteous and accommodating. I felt safe at this facility. I would definitely recommend here to someone who is interested in this kind of accommodation.
The worst experience we've ever had an we are travelers the worse just by saying this it's an all inclusive we went to bed hungry the lunch buffet 1hr an 15mins wait with uncooked hot dogs bad attitude no ice I swear the worse no towels was left in the room Ac blew out hot air no accommodation for my husband Birthday after leaving several messages it's the worst I'm very upset the whole resort NEEDS CUSTOMERS SERVICE TRAINING AN A ATTITUDE AJUSTMENT THE WORST EVER
The breakfast is amazing! It is so nice that Bailey caters to your taste and is considerate about allergies.
Also the view from the roof terrace is lovely, especially during sunrise/set. We encourage all guests to eat up there at least once.
We also enjoyed our morning jogs to Runaway Bay beach.
The hosts were exceptional, apart from the amazing breakfast, the conversation and overall hospitality was spot on.
We will definitely stay here again.
The resort was beautiful and in the perfect location. Both the resort and beach were huge and clean! Bars and food on them for convenience. The one food place on the beach had to be the only spot with fresh authentic tasting local food. All of the employees at the hotel were extremely friendly, helpful, and hospitable. Bring lots of tip money.
I would definitely come back to this resort as I felt comfortable, safe and really enjoyed my time.
We stayed here for a last minute overnight trip to Ocho Rios. We checked in very late but the process was simple enough. The place is clean and the suite is a good size. The property is quiet, not luxury, but it's cute. The property is beachside and we could hear the waves from our room. There's also a pool right by the sea. We unfortunately did not get to go to either but it's nice to have. Would definitely recommend for a quick stop.
Most of the staff were very nice, some were not. I had to change rooms due to door not working and having multiple issues with the room. The second room was amazing. My children enjoyed themselves. The facilities were amazing including location. I would say the breakfast and lunch is nice, however dinner is hit and miss. Overall, I had an amazing time at the hotel and would definitely be revisiting with my family next year.
The staff were SO friendly and helped to make my stay amazing! The room I had was very comfortable and stayed cool, and I didn't hear others around me. The arranged transfers from the airport to the hotel were really nice, given the distance (1 hr). it was good to not have to worry about that. The size of the resort was nice for me and it was a great jumping off point for hiring a guide to take me to see local wildlife.
Almost every meal was exceptional, authentic and flavourful. The Jamaican flavours came through in almost every meal or dish. The pastries, staples etc. was fresh and tasty. I visited two (2) resorts on this trip where one was much larger and more established, however their cuisine was no where near as flavourful, complexed and complete as Jewel Paradise Cove. Exceptional experience.
I just love the atmosphere and the energy at this place. The Spiritual vibe was great! The Beautiful couple that own and runs this place, they were the best host, chef and they catered to all my needs. It seems more like I was at a friend’s home visiting. The place is modern, clean and just all around beautiful with every detail in place. Can’t wait to go back there.
I loved the friendliness of the staff and their ability to interact and lyme with the guests. Big up Sandy, Jade, Kelsene, Carlyle, Jevaughn… yeah man! 😄
The place was always clean and tidy.
The variety of meals I was offered being in the Luxury part of the hotel and the service throughout as well.
The hotel had multiple amenities to take advantage of…
The place was very well set out with everything one could need, the host was lovely, the beach access is great, it was very clean, the bed was comfy, a range of books and netflix and wifi
We really enjoyed it one night was not enough and we will return for extra nights
The hospitality of Bailey and Princess was so generous and heartfelt. We felt very welcomed and safe and relaxed while staying in their place. The jewel of the property is the rooftop veranda with the sweeping ocean views - just breathtaking!
Entertainment, food, bar, pool, sea, hotel, gym, car park was safe, distance from main area was calm and quiet, nice rooms, dining area. Vibe was nice. Really comfy place. We would visit again and recommend.
The food was not really the best compared to other hotels I've stayed at. Even saw a roach at the pasta station.
The infrastructure of the property could definitely use some work also.
Beach Access was excellent and the staff was amazing, not to mention Jaana, one of the best hosts I have had since staying at properties. I would recommend this property to others.
The property was very centered to shops and stores plus the bar is right there, beach is small but it can accommodate the guests for a cool day away from home .
