From the first communication with Ultimate Freedom Bed and Breakfast (Miss Lydia), I knew I had booked the right place for my parents who needed accommodation for a funeral they had to attend. Miss Lydia was helpful, informative, and patient, answering my questions promptly. Miss Lydia made sure the room was cooled and prepared before my parents' arrival and informed me when they had arrived safely, which I was very grateful for. My parents were nothing but impressed with their room and the level of service Miss Lydia provided. They stated that she went above and beyond, looked after them, and they wanted for nothing! The room wasn't just clean; it was spotless. This was the perfect place to stay. Juliet was a lovely host - so friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, mosquito proof and located near all the restaurants and shops and the beach. I can’t fault it. You won’t get a warmer welcome.

Very nice and comfortable APT in a very quiet area in Black River. With a full kitchen, large bedroom, a very good shower and a big comfy sofa !! We received the entrance pincode the day before our arrival, but got the keys from the friendly lady next doors. Also, the payment was done through her, which was not really communicated by the owner. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. We travelled by route taxis to YS Falls, Treasure Beach and Appleton distillery. Black River is THE transport hub in this part of the island. And is a lively place to be for a few days. The croc tour we did with a local man Teddy, just for the 2 of us, same price 25USD PP, but longer tour and very personal. WATCH OUT for crocs in the sea in town as we have seen 2 bigger ones enjoying the sea .... NOT a joke !! Ask the locals.

Absolutely wonderful place if you want to stay in a villa. I like that the owners engaged in conversation with you and did not shy away from anything you needed. Very nice people. The villa is very well equipped with the facilities you need in the room and even has a separate kitchen on each floor if you want to actually cook. Very comfortable and homely, 1st impression I was very impressed! I definitely recommend and will return.

Small quiet neighborhood. Close to the beach. Had mostly what I needed. If you're not fussy or needy, this place is perfect. Had wifi and a tiny kitchen. With a 2 min walk to the beach. Jake's bar and pizza are also there for relaxing and drinks.
