10/10! If you find yourself in Vibo Valentia for any amount of time, this is a wonderful place to stay. Finding the property was a bit challenging (only because GPS gets confused on these small town roads). But we called the host for help and once we arrived, he was extremely welcoming and accommodating (helping us find parking, bringing luggage inside, showing us the space). He recommended several restaurants for dinner and things to do in the area. The apartment itself was pristine and bright, with more amenities than most hotels. We had a balcony and view of the street, so the already ample space felt like it extended outdoors. Before sending us on our way, the host served us local pastries he had bought (along with a cappuccino) for breakfast. We were only passing through town to rest during a long drive, so the only thing I would change is staying longer!

We really liked our stay in this apartment. First of all, the owner of the house is pretty nice and welcoming, the communication was super easy before and after our trip, and he adapted to facilitate our check-in, our check-out, etc. I remember when we arrived how he explained the different parts of the house, turned the heating on, left some coffee for us to have in the morning, explained how the washing machine worked... he did his best for us to be happy and well in his flat.
The apartment was quite nice, the beds were comfortable, it was clean, the kitchen was fully equipped (plus oil, salt, kitchen towels, shower gel in the bathroom...), a plus when you are travelling and staying for a few days! The coffee maker was amazing and the capsules he had were very tasty, exactly what we wanted in our stay in Italy. At the end of our stay, he even let us leave our luggage for a few hours after doing the check-out while we waited for our train, so... thanks a lot, Massimo! We will come back :)

Very good place to stay. In the city center. There were place to keep car on the parking in front of room windows. Nice rooms and nice to walk to city center.
Vivo Valentia is a nice city, lot of history I found around.
Vivo Valentia is a nice city, lot of history I found around. It is a quiet community for relax and people are friendly. I you want more excitement I recommend the beautiful Tropea which is really close from Vibo Valentia centre.

Vibo Valentia is a lovely little town and although our stay...
Vibo Valentia is a lovely little town and although our stay was only a couple of nights, the location has historic places to see both in the town and in surrounding villages. Other amenities like large supermarkets and fitness centres are there as well. You will need a car to fully explore the villages around.
Rooms were very well laid out. Patios for the larger rooms were under construction. Very central. We tried to cancel small room months in advance but the hotel would not let us. When we checked in they only had 2 rooms ready. We reminded them that 3 rooms were paid for and they gave us a third.
The check-in was fast, I just need to get my room after a long trip. Next day in the morning, Maria, explained to me everything and gave me may ticket for my breakfast. When I came back from my walking around the nice Vibo Valentia, everything was sparkly in my room. Maria was amazing!!
