We enjoyed daily walks along the lungomare from Alba Adriatica to Giulianova. Had we stayed longer, we would have walked the 3.3km up the hill (230m altitude) to Tortoreto Alto. There are many good restaurants and cafes.

It’s the perfect place for families, people that like sports...
It’s the perfect place for families, people that like sports, cycling, walking, roller blading. There’s a long sea front with a smooth cycle path that runs for over 10km. Loads of parks for the kids to play. Plenty of bars and reasonably priced restaurants. The people are very friendly and helpful in general. Our favourite beach spot is the Garden lido. They have excellent facilities including a big pool, a great restaurant and super clean bathrooms and changing rooms. Garden lido does the best frittura di pesce in the entire world!
Go to Mauro’s off the sea front road for the best cornetti ever! We ride bikes to and from the beach, it’s the best way to get around.
The sea is not dirty but is not always crystal clear when it’s windy. There are always lifeguards on duty at the beach and they are on the ball.
It really is a great place for a family holiday.
The staff was super nice. You get a beach umbrella and showers at the beach included. The hotel is decently enough maintained and the food is okay. An average experience, nothing bad but nothing outstanding. The value for money is not worth it, we went in high season traveling north from better options further south. Could be at other times of year the hotel would be more accessible.
Rooms were very spacious and clean, well furnished, staff lovely and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good in comparison to other hotels we stayed at. Very nice place with private and clean beach, its own restaurant outside of the hotel. Would visit again or recommend to a friend.
I don't see how this is rated as two star. It's easily a three star hotel. For italy the rooms were ample with good bunk beds for the four person family rooms. The beach is well run, without an extra charge for at least some lettine beds. It is of course an italian beach.
The staff were incredible!!
So friendly and helpful, would 100% recommend and stay here again.
The breakfast was excellent, a delicious coffee
The location is far from the town of Tortoreto but it’s so quiet and scenic. A beautiful and tranquil atmosphere
Quiet, family friendly, clean and free bus to the beach. Pool area is lovely. Small pool for kids to play inside alone with supervision obviously. Overall the price is good for what you get. 5 mins to the beach and 5 mins to the Alto tortoreto in the car.
The room was clean, but too small for adult and 2 kids as it was mentioned before.
No isolation as u could hear everything what is happening in another rooms.
But it’s really good location, 3 min from the beach. In centre of Tortoreto
WOW. So much attention to customers never get in any hotel. Hotel is simple, but nice and comfortable. Very good location, got parking place. Staff was amazing! Because we had to leave very early - that made early breakfast for us.
I must admit .. just everything in this hotel was the top of the top ! 10/10 !! We will definitely go back to this hotel in 2023. We are already looking forward to next year’s vacation at the Aurea Hotel !
Well equipped and spotlessly clean!
150 meters to the beach, but also private pool at the hotel. Playground for kids outside and inside, so looks like kids are welcome.
Stayed a day longer than planned 🙂
