Hotel Palazzo Krataiis, hotel in Scilla

Set in a building from the 18th century, Hotel Palazzo Krataiis is only 10 metres from the beach in Scilla and 100 metres from the ancient hamlet of Chianalea. The property features free Wi-Fi.

The location over the road from the sea with restaurants and bars within very easy reach and the old part easy to walk to with more restaurants. The hotel was very clean and breakfast was good. The manager was helpful and carried our cases up the 3 flights of winding stairs. I felt a lot fitter when we left after climbing those twice a day. The area we had on the top floor was roomy, we had a large room with a separate bathroom, another small room connected by a corridor. We had a small balcony with table and chairs which was good to sit out on. The hotel had all the facilities we needed. The car parking was on the sea front which cost 10 Euros per day from 8.00 a.m until 11.59 pm, then free until 8.00 a.m.

Il Casato Deluxe Rooms, hotel in Scilla

Il Casato Deluxe Rooms offers accommodation in Scilla near Spiaggia Di Scilla and Lido Chianalea Scilla.

It was in a great location. We had the room with sea view and there was a big window that opened to allow fresh air and we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. The staff at reception, the restaurant and for breakfast were fantastic, breakfast was excellent, I asked for scrambled eggs for my 2 year old and it wasn’t a problem

The views across Scilla as well as the sea views and bay views are all very beautiful. Scilla is on a hillside so expect lots of paths and steps as you explore Scilla. The lift near Bar Roxy on the beach takes you right up to the piazza and a cappuccino, or a pizza from Pizza Scilla. There are places to eat along the beach and in Scilla. Do try the local swordfish panini! Delicious.

Lovely personal BnB right on the water edge.

Lovely personal BnB right on the water edge. Large balcony over the sea with a wonderful view of the sea and Scilla. The main beach is wonderful for swimming in the clear turquoise water. It is a small relaxed town.

we liked everything about our stay in Scilla

we liked everything about our stay in Scilla Close proximity to Train Station, walking distance to the Beach, Local Cafes and Restaurants along the waterfront and across from the main beach. Walking distance to the Old town Centre either take a lift up or walk up the stairs for some paronamic views you won't be disappointed. It is only a small coastal town with a few restaurants and Cafes to choose from

    The view was spectacular.

The view was spectacular. There was direct access to the rocks at the waterfront but no way to get in or out of the water safely. The property is advertised as The entire holiday home’ but this is false. The property has at least three apartments. We had to walk past our neighbour’s glass patio doors to access our apartment and the narrow balcony was shared.

I loved Scilla as the pace was so relaxed and a chilled vibe… I really liked where I stayed to watch the sunsets and the locals chatting in the square Chianalea which is in walking distance is a must visit for beautiful streets and alleyways and gorgeous restaurants… In my personal opinion no need for a car as youcan walk everywhere and there’s a train station with very regular services

The town is one of the biggest discoveries I had in years - it is probably top3 the most incredible places in Italy (at least those I have seen). It's a perfect place for a romantic trip, it offers great restaurants and great accommodation for decent prices. The views are just fantastic - it exceeded my expectations!

Wonderful family run business! The couple who owns this property are so kind and attentive. Great location with stunning views of the portside. Our room was cleaned everyday and breakfast on the terrace was very enjoyable. We was served croissants and a different cake everyday then yoghurts and cereal was on offer for you to have as you please. Would recommend this property for anyone stopping in Scilla.

Very friendly staff. Check in was easy. The apartment has everything a traveller of our calibre needs. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The location is perfect for visiting all the sights of Scilla on foot. It is easy to find excellent restaurants and bars nearby and the owner recommended us a really excellent fish restaurant by the seafront. We highly recommend it to other travellers.

Even though the building is in a densely built-up area, the windows face towards the hills, and it is quiet all the time. Thanks to Andrea's father we arrived at the house from Scilla train station with his car.
