Hotel U' Bais, hotel in Scilla

U' Bais in Scilla is named after a nickname that goes back to the 18th century and was given to the owner's ancestor. The hotel offers friendly service and free internet.

Hotel U’Bais is the perfect place to stay for a weekend in Scilla. It’s a minute’s walk from the beach (we had a beautiful view of the sea from our balcony) and it’s got all the rustic charm you’d expect from a southern Italian B&B. Our room was super clean, lots of storage space for hanging / folding clothes and we loved having a fridge to keep drinks cool. The staff were really friendly — we are useless when it comes to Italian (we tried with the duolingo…) and even though the staff didn’t really speak any English, they always accommodated our stupidity / helped us along. Shuttle service was also mega convenient (thanks to Mr Macri!)

B&B La Veduta, hotel in Scilla

Set in the historic town of Scilla, La Veduta offers rooms with a large furnished balcony with views across the Tyrrhenian Sea to the Aeolian Islands. Wi-Fi is free.

Everything! The views are outstanding. The bedroom is comfortable and has a mini bar, the balcony has great furniture, the breakfast choice is perfect and extremely tasty-the homemade pastries and cakes are to die for. All the food is fresh and the coffee sets you up for the day. Antonio is the perfect host and his mama is the best. Antonio arranged an airport pick up for us and took us to the train station when we were leaving. He also arranged a boat trip for us. We had a fantastic stay at La Veduta - such a special place. We hope to return and highly recommend this special B&B

The views across Scilla as well as the sea views and bay views are all very beautiful. Scilla is on a hillside so expect lots of paths and steps as you explore Scilla. The lift near Bar Roxy on the beach takes you right up to the piazza and a cappuccino, or a pizza from Pizza Scilla. There are places to eat along the beach and in Scilla. Do try the local swordfish panini! Delicious.

Lovely personal BnB right on the water edge. Large balcony over the sea with a wonderful view of the sea and Scilla. The main beach is wonderful for swimming in the clear turquoise water. It is a small relaxed town.

we liked everything about our stay in Scilla

we liked everything about our stay in Scilla Close proximity to Train Station, walking distance to the Beach, Local Cafes and Restaurants along the waterfront and across from the main beach. Walking distance to the Old town Centre either take a lift up or walk up the stairs for some paronamic views you won't be disappointed. It is only a small coastal town with a few restaurants and Cafes to choose from

    The view was spectacular.

The view was spectacular. There was direct access to the rocks at the waterfront but no way to get in or out of the water safely. The property is advertised as The entire holiday home’ but this is false. The property has at least three apartments. We had to walk past our neighbour’s glass patio doors to access our apartment and the narrow balcony was shared.

I loved Scilla as the pace was so relaxed and a chilled vibe… I really liked where I stayed to watch the sunsets and the locals chatting in the square Chianalea which is in walking distance is a must visit for beautiful streets and alleyways and gorgeous restaurants… In my personal opinion no need for a car as youcan walk everywhere and there’s a train station with very regular services

The town is one of the biggest discoveries I had in years - it is probably top3 the most incredible places in Italy (at least those I have seen). It's a perfect place for a romantic trip, it offers great restaurants and great accommodation for decent prices. The views are just fantastic - it exceeded my expectations!

The concierge man had reserved a parking place for us outside the hotel which was a big relief as parking in Scilla is very limited and it was a Sunday with lots of local people thronging the town. We found a nice bar to start the evening and then a good Restaurant which is owned by the Hotel Group. Lovely location overlooking the next bay. Breakfast was good and they had eggs for our Veggy friend which went down very well. Breakfast was included in our deal which was good as we had to leave early to catch the ferry to Sicily!
