The staff were so friendly and attentive, it was my partners birthday and they left us up a bottle of prosecco and small cake. We couldn't have been looked after better. The breakfast was delicious and very comprehensive. Everything from hot food to cold meats to Haribo gummy bears, they had it all.
Aqua aerobics is on at 8:00 we joined in, it was lots of fun. The instructor was very good and was able to give instruction in English so we could follow.

Riva del Garda is now one of my favourite places in the world. Beautiful scenery with hiking opportunities for all levels of fitness. Food and wine amazing. The ferry is a wonderful way to visit various other nearby towns around the lake. Easy walking town.

Fun walking the boardwalk along the lake. Rented Hobie Cat near the hotel, lots of fun. Lake gets really windy in afternoon, excellent sailing/windsurfing, etc. Restaurant at hotel is exceptional. Walking distance to center of town. Really nice place. Highly recommend it!

We have visited Lake Garda many times and have stayed predominantly in Riva which is our favorite of all the other locations around the lake. As Riva is so accessible to other places like Verona and Venice it’s an ideal base for travelers. The fact that you have so may activities at hand if you’re into walking, sailing, cycling etc you certainly won’t be bored! it’s a fabulous place to visit and absorb the atmosphere whilst admiring the scenery which we love so much. I look forward to my break every year and of course the cuisine and wines on offer are fabulous. I would highly recommend you visit this wonderful place.

Riva del Garda made a perfect base for exploring the area. It's a very walkable town and had great beaches and a brilliant pedestrianised area for the evenings with loads of restaurants.
We enjoyed exploring the different eateries, and there's so much variety - we never had a bad meal, but I would say the restaurants on the front have the best views, but the ones further back had slightly better food!
I'd recommend taking the ferry out on the lake - Malcesine & Limone were great trips to do from Riva del Garda, but personally I would drive to Sirmione if you can, as the boat there/back was very busy and took forever!

Lovely little town set between the lake and hills / mountains. Lots of restaurant options (we didn't have a bad meal while there), cycle paths, trail walks etc. and the option to take the ferry to Limone, Malcesine etc. The street entertainment in the evenings is good, singers etc. The whole family really enjoyed it.

This was my second stay in this hotel and again it was a perfect one. I chose it because of great location, few minutes walk from the center, great breakfasts and very kind and helpful owners. Breakfasts are very tasty with a variety of products. Separate story is coffe served for breakfasts, which quality is comparable to served in restaurants, if kot higher. Rooms are spacoius with a modern furniture.
Villa Maria will be my first choice for stay when I visit Riva del Garda again.
Parking was available and we had a place to stop to take the parking keys.
The hotel is very close to the touristic part of Riva del Garda so easy to just walk around and even if you want a ferry to one of the towns you don't have a long walk.
The staff were very kind and generous. The room was good and fairly comfortable.
I would definitely recommend that you book a table at the hotel's restaurant, it's very good and well priced for what you get.

Antonio was the BEST!!! He was there if we needed ANYTHING! We had a party of 9 with an apartment and Maisonett room......The rooms were perfect with cold AC dishwasher and stoves... Super close to EVERYTHING... from the lake...supermarket...shopping...gelateria...bars..restaurants ALL within 5 min walking.......Extremely clean rooms and always felt safe in all aspects... DEF would recommend this place & would stay here again next time I travel to italy..
I wish we had stayed in the old town in the north east corner of Riva del Garda. That is mostly where we spent our time. We live in Florida so didn't spend a ton of time sunbathing/at the lake etc. Its only a short less than mile walk on a gorgeous water path. If you are looking for a quiet location away from the old town and directly across from the lake, this is it! The view from the hotel was gorgeous!
The place was everything i wanted from a hotel. Not only that its placement it’s inside the heart of Riva del Garda , but also the hotel has a lovely atmosphere, lovely staff, and great facilities.
Also the staff offered us the service that I asked them prior to our visit. I was enchanted how well they followed my instructions !

Location and dining staff. Our bedroom had a balcony overlooking Lake Garda. I think all bedrooms did also. And we were able to walk into the center of the town of Riva del Garda all along the edge of the lake on lovely, separate paths from the bicycle paths And the dining room staff at breakfast came from all over Europe and were very friendly and helpful. And also the front desk.
Fabulous suite in a great location. Katia was so pleasant to chat with and provided helpful suggestions. The free bike usage was perfect for getting down to the lake. We stayed in suite 1 which includes a little private outdoor patio which was perfect for eating dinner or relaxing with a glass of wine admiring the gorgeous mountain views. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay.
The location of the hotel was absolutely fantastic. A short walk to the city. We also got a room with a lake view, which was a nice surprise. The hotel breakfast was hearty and kept us going for a long day. The hotel was comfortable and atmospheric, the rooms were very clean. Although I had booked a single room, I was upgraded to a double at no extra cost. I had a balcony with a partial view of the lake. The hotel had plenty of parking. It was also within walking distance of the town center of Riva del Garda. The hotel had a nice garden and wellness center. Breakfast was delicious with good variety.

The hotel could not be more beautiful. The grounds are perfect, perfectly situated to provide both some peace and quiet but also close enough to Riva del Garda that some more action is always close at hand. The staff were lovely and the food delicious. I highly recommend getting the breakfast!
Amazing view of the lake. But don’t sleep on the Mountain View. At least from the common walkways, it’s also an exceptional view. The front desk attendants were very helpful and sweet. Three minute walk to the main pedestrian area, so location is perfect—proximity but also quiet and private.
