Perfect location in the heart of positano with great views of the coast. The rooms were spacious - we booked an apartment and it had a lemon tree in the garden. The staff were always so ready to help and so friendly. We chose this hotel for our wedding and the hotel staff gave me a bouquet of flowers which was super sweet!

Northern Italy is where to go for the food. This is the place for the views, area specific shops, hiking and rest. Lots of stairs if you walk. But there are taxis, parking garages and local bus routes if needed. Positano is way less touristy than Amalfi.

Positano is like living out of a post card.
Positano is like living out of a post card. It has a magical and peaceful vibe. Every picture you see is exactly what you will experience. One thing to note is you will walk a lot and there is lot of hills and stairs. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming.

Positano is definitely great for the traveler who is interested in taking gorgeous photos and picturesque views. It is also great for exercise as there is no shortage of stairs and walking trails to get from place to place. The town of Positano is quite small and very walkable from one end to the other and getting to other towns on the Amalfi Coast is very easy using the ferry. However, the Amalfi Coast in general is very expensive and overall the food scene is quite mediocre. The best meals we had were at Mediterraneo and Lo Guarrancino. Also the fried squash blossoms at Cafe Positano were surprisingly very good. Everywhere else we ate in Positano was just okay or bad. My stay was 5 days but I would recommend no more than 3 days for future travelers.

Stunning views unlike any other place.
Stunning views unlike any other place. Definitely recommend Positano as a base for your Amalfi vacation as it is in the center of everything and make other excursions easily accessible and so fun to explore after the day trippers are gone.

The beauty of the town is unreal, but it is built on steep hillsides which means that narrow roads and switch backs are not recommended for the unseasoned driver not used to such terrain. If you're not in shape when you get there, you will be by time you leave. There are many, many, many steps and paths around the town. It's very picturesque but also very demanding physically. Probably not the best town for the elderly or those with physical challenges. Taxi's are the best mode of transportation though there is a good local bus system however, busses only come by hourly, and because of the congrestion they are rarely on time.

The views of Positano are amazing .
The views of Positano are amazing . Everyone is really friendly and the food amazing . You need to be fit to get up and down the hills and steps. There were 3 really good restaurants very close to Florida residence and they were all good but our favourite was Saraceno D’oro had the most amazing pizza and lasagne and the staff were all really good
Wow! Where to start…This hotel was completely amazing! Everything was perfect. The room, the staff, the cleaning, the Terrace, the view and not to talk about the delicious breakfast served on the balcony every morning. The coffee was just the best! Alcione Residence completely topped every expectation we had and it made our visit in Positano the very best!
The staff here is lovely. So very helpful and caring in every way and I leave this place feeling loved and well taken care of.
Thank you SO much for everything! 10/10! ♥️
The hotel is in the center of Positano, in the main street, which makes it very easy to access when staying there. It is in excellent condition, very well maintained and pristine clean. The staff is professional, friendly, courteous, and helpful, they do their best to ensure your stay is unforgettable. They all speak good English, which is a great advantage.
The view is spectacular and breakfast is taken to your room at a time you select, which you can enjoy in the balcony while looking out at the beautiful view.
The Location was perfect providing the best view.
We always enjoyed the walk down to the beach, and the morning view of Positano from room's balcony.
We had our cat with us, the staff was familiar in how to deal with the cat, offering to clean the room in unusual times, when we take the cat out with us, so the cat doesn't get afraid or run away.
The staff in all were always ready to help and friendly.
We enjoyed the trip as a whole, surely we will be back in Positano, and for sure in the same Hotel.
The staffs were all really nice and helpful.
Breakfast was amazing ! Lots of varieties and the fruits change everyday :)
The tableware made us feel the perfect positano vibe.
The owner's brother's resto right below the hotel was a plus. One thing is, on Google map, it says like 10mins from the ferry harbour. But you need to consider that Google map does not count the stairs..... so it tajes actually 20~25mins as you will want to use an actual road, not just crazy stiff stair way.
The hotel is beautiful and has simply stunning views! It was my 30th birthday so I'd asked for the best room in the price range I booked and staff were happy to book an amazing room with a balcony and views of Positano. The breakfast is amazing, not a big selection but everything was fresh and tasty. The room was really spacious and we loved the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom! The hotel also has a private beach area which is great and isn't too strenuous of a climb from the port.
Everything about this place was incredible! My husband and I honeymooned in Italy and Positano was our first destination. This hotel made our first stop absolutely perfect. Everything from location to the staff…especially the staff! They made sure that we had a memorable time. Truly can’t say enough about how amazing this hotel is!
PS they have the BEST pizza that we tried in Positano!
so definitely eat lunch there during your stay and Da Adolfo next door!
This hotel is amazing, the best place in Positano I would say. The attention, the restaurant is so good, the view, everything here is incredible. Contact them ahead so they could arrange your transportation from Naples if you need it, we did it and was a great idea because they also transport your bags from the parking lot to the hotel (500m) which in Positano is a big challenge. We told them ahead it was our honeymoon and definitely made the trip special.
location is Amazing! The Villa was immaculate, comfortable more like a 5 star hotel. The staff essentially was available for every need we have, booking taxis and tours whatever we needed and made sure everything was perfect! I recommend Villa Aldo Marino, our Hostess Viviann who saw after each request, and Staff Marco who made us amazing breakfast every morning and of course Aldo who helped with the luggage and smiles…. Bellissimo Villa Aldo!
well, where do i start.
the room was wonderful, all what you expect from a 5 star hotel. its newly renovated, clean, smart.
the hosts Mr. Valerio and Mrs. Tamara were very generous and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
and not to mention the view from the balcony is breathtaking.
We really enjoyed our stay and the hosts really made us feel comfortable.
My husband and I loved our stay at hotel Poseidon! We were visiting Positano to celebrate my 30th birthday and the hotel staff were amazing and made our stay so special. The location was great with incredible views and the breakfast was delicious! We also loved our room which was upgraded for my birthday so we had a lovely ocean view with a spacious, comfortable room.
The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous views, exquisite garden, best restaurant in Positano, private beach and an enchanting walkway to get to the main beach. quietly tucked away from the hustle of the city center. The staff was extremely kind and always helpful. It is a piece of paradise. I will be definitely returning.
All the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. They did their best to make sure your requests were met and that your experience was an enjoyable one. There are 70+ steep steps into the Hotel but well worth the climb to enjoy the views. You can best enjoy the views over breakfast on the terrace overlooking Positano and the coast.
the apartment was nice, clean and had great views. location was minutes away to restaurants and not too far from the centre. The breakfasts offered by the hotel on the terrace with views of positano and sea were amazing. Special thank you to graziana, francesco, genaro, and the family and team at florida residence. Highly recommend
Perfect place to stay, very clean and comfortable. We had the best views looking over the ocean and Positano.
The restaurant was very good, breakfasts were delicious, lots of variety. The staff at the hotel are very nice and willing to help with anything.
Really great location on the beach, we had a room on the top floor which had amazing views of Positano with a lovely terrace which was great for people wanting and catching some sun. It’s a small hotel and was lovely and quiet.
The staff was super helpful and nice at any occasion. Especially, the staff at breakfast was exceptional, 5 star hotel level. The location is great, central and easy to get there. The view from the balcony was stunning.
Fantastic view, best in Positano. Colomba is a wonderful person, breaksfast at the balcony is amazing. Bus stop just in front of the hotel. Be aware of climbing 183 steps everyday, but it worths when you see the view.
We found this place after a terrible experience with another hotel. They are the nicest people I’ve ever met so far. The best view of Positano, very close to city centre. We will definitely come back!
Amazing hotel with stunning location and view from the room is breath taking . Excellent service and the breakfast was 5 stars . Very recommended . Iam sure will come again to same hotel .
