Big comfy bed, spotlessly clean hotel, very friendly staff front of house, dining room, and cleaning staff.
Breakfast was a treat, huge variety to suit all tastes, not often pizza, tiramisu, and prosecco feature on breakfast menus!

Terrific facilities with a lovely host who was very service minded and let us put our bikes in the room. Would definitely recommend when visiting La Spezia.

The shining star of this accommodation is the owner who is simply a lovely person. She enthused welcome!
Also, we found this place after another place cancelled our reservation. We were worried about doing the Cinque Terra from a non Cinque terra town but it worked out just fine. We hiked both days and saw everything we wanted to. Breakfast is custom and amazing. We also went to the local restaurant, on her recommendation, and though nondescript in atmosphere was simply the best food we had in all of Italy!
Hotel Al Convento is a former monastery in the historic centre of the mediaeval village of Vezzano Ligure. It features a spa, private garden and design rooms.

The hotel staff were very nice and the breakfast was also very good.
Village in the countryside up on a hill. Suitable base for exploring the nearby located Cinque Terre National Park as well as Porto Venere and Levanto, La Spezia by car. The village itself is very small and therefore quiet. No shops, but a restaurant.
