The location is ideal—far enough from the busy areas for peace and quiet, yet close enough to reach any destination easily. The sea view rooms offer a stunning panorama of the hills and the sea on the horizon. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises from the east, overlooking the sea. The staff is friendly, rooms are super clean and maintained. SPA treatments were great as well.

We ate out all the time, and each meal was great- even the gelato was delicious.
And we walked everywhere, exploring every corner

A week is the perfect amount of time to visit Polignano a Mare and visit surrounding towns.
The old town is super cute with lots of souvenir shops, unique artists and lots of yummy food available. As you walk through the maze of streets there were lots of little view points of the famous beach, caves and the Grotta Palazzese.
Don't miss drinking a Special Coffee at the 'The Super Mago del Gelo Mario Campanella'.
Don't forget to visit surrounding places like, Bari, Monopoli, Lecce and Ostuni (you will need a taxi from the station).

it is one of the magical locations in Italy. you must make a boat tour to watch the city from the sea, it is amazing. pay attention to choose a hotel with old town view. otherwise you will stay in a regular hotel with a street view or just overlooking the sea. ( covo dei saraceni is the best, or look for similar )

If you're looking for a relaxing break by the sea this is it! Plenty of promenade for evening strolls, food is fresh and lovely. It's busy on Sundays as people love spending the afternoons having a drink and the streets are busier than usual. We also went to Monopoli which is really close by and simply beautiful as well.

The history of the town, the cobbled marble streets flourished with bars and restaurants. The gelato bars and the friendly people. The Grotto caves along the shoreline and the heritage site where no buildings are allowed.
Must try Panzarotti from Rotelina cafe and gelato and granita from Bar Gelateria (pink sign) and La Locanda Porta Picc, which is a nice restaurant with authentic Italian food. You must also try BBQ Octopus in a roll at La Cadel Polpo. Polignano is walkable with the main town and also has a train station.

Stella di Mare Dimora Charme is a perfect location in...
Stella di Mare Dimora Charme is a perfect location in Polignano a Mare. The apartment was incredibly clean and beautiful with stone walls and vaulted ceiling. Very quiet neighbourhood but steps away from via Roma - a busy street with lots of restaurants. The apartment was stocked with breakfast essentials, including a great coffee maker and espresso pot. Complimentary bottle of wine was much appreciated after arriving. I was lucky that in April I could park just outside the door - a huge plus in a busy tourist town. Polignano itself is gorgeous - view of the iconic coast and buildings arising up from the stone. The historic centre is charming. The location is perfect for touring the beautiful Vallee d'Itria and its interesting hill towns.

Great location near the train station and an easy ten minute walk to the beach. The room was large and very clean! I thought that it was a brand new hotel but no, it is just impeccably clean and maintained. It was in a quiet residential neighborhood and there was a lovely inner courtyard to enjoy breakfast. The best was Natia, the lady who worked there. She was so inviting and made sure that I had enough to eat for breakfast and made the experience feel Ike a B&B. I would stay here again!
This was the most gorgeous room we stayed in during our time in Polignano! The decor was beautiful. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The accommodation is a 5 minute walk to the old town and a 2 minute walk to the train station. Nani met us on our arrival and she was so friendly. She gave us a map of the area and marked out all the great local restaurants for us to try which was a lovely touch! Would fully recommended Sunhouse Rooms for a visit to Polignano a Mare.
The location was perfect. You can walk to the train station and to old town, the beach and restaurants. The host Claudio and father are sweetest people. They picked us up from the train station and arranged transfer to the airport for us. Claudio’s father even brought us a bag of snack as a parting gift. If you visit Polinganano, you will not regret staying at Vico Blu. We have traveled a lot. This place is among the best places I have stayed.
this is the place to stay in polignano a mare area!! do not think twice to book it, it is very nice! the property is gated so it feels very very safe. It is so beautiful and so spacious inside and outside, this place will be great with any family with little children or friends. the rooms are so comfortable. it is a great getaway, only 5 mins drive to the beaches and main city. i would gladly stay again. thank you!
This property is truly stunning, situated near the city center. The captivating terrace offers breathtaking views, and the impeccable cleanliness is noteworthy. The host's exceptional hospitality added to our experience as she provided valuable recommendations for both sightseeing and dining. Without a doubt, if we ever revisit Polignano a Mare, this would be our top choice for accommodation.
I enjoyed absolutely everything about this place. First of all is very central, close to many restaurants and shops and 3 min walk to the famous beach. The place itself is build in a cave , I think it gives a very unique style to it , and the walk in shower is amazing 🤩.
Erika, my host was very nice and welcoming and always responded quick .
I would definitely book again!
Loved the location only a short distance from the bars and restaurants and beach area . The room was spotless and linen was changed during our 3 night stay . Cleaning staff were great . The host was very helpful and friendly . We had access to a roof area that had sun beds and chairs which was great and coffee and pastry were provided at a nearby cafe at no cost .
This B&B was amazing! The rooms were beautiful and authentic and the views were insane! The location was also perfect. It was a 10 min walk from the train station and it’s located in the historic center that is a pedestrian center. You can walk to everything: restaurants, shops, beach. The owner was so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!
I can’t say enough things about the place! To start the staff is so nice and helpful. They helped with parking accommodation, restaurants and places to visit. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was great! Highly recommend this stay, very close to the beach and center of town. By far my favorite stay so far in Italy, just for the service alone :)
Perfect in many ways. Great location, friendly host Mauro who is always prepared to give a hand to help, neat accommodation and lovely beaches nearby. Close to Polignano a Mare, we walked there every evening. Enjoyed sea and when tired by sun, we spent our time in at the pool. Great breakfast. It is definatelly worth coming back.
Loved the location, it was very close and walkable to the beach and main restaurants as well as very close to the train station. Theres no kitchen if thats what you need but there is a fridge. Also a large wardrobe, great shower and very clean facilities. Air con was great and the room was pretty spacious for two people.
Absolutely loved this property! From the staff they were so friendly and helpful , beautiful breakfast , roof terrace with hot tub ! Our cave room with our own pool cave and jacuzzi was amazing ! I would definitely stay here again . Amazing boutique hotel ? Central to everything . Thank you for an amazing stay !
This is the center of the old town. There are many restaurants and cafes, a famous beach and many shops nearby.
The room, the owner, and the location are good. I prefer a quiet place to stay, but it is an interesting experience to learn about the lives of local people.
Great location, downtown and beach Lama Monachile in a 10-min walk distance. Free parking in front of the apartment. 2-min walk to the grocery store and several good restaurants nearby. Well equipped apartment, Donato is a really good host.
The accommodation is super clean, cosy and very well equipped and very close to the restaurants in Polignano. Breakfast at cafeteria is very convenient. Elena, the host was very kind and helpful. I would definetly recommend it. 5 stars.
Best breakfast we've had in Italy. Beautiful, comfortable and well designed hotel. Staff was amazing, very kind and helpful. Communication at it's best. Special cocktails made at the bar were fantastic.
Comfortable. In old district of polignano easy to walk anywhere. Able to park in free lot near station then walk 10 min to hotel. Beautiful terrace. Clean and very quiet at night.
