Casa Orneto is a little piece of paradise :-) We felt at home, thanks to the wonderful, very kind owner Silvia and her family. The accommodation was perfectly clean, equipped with all essential kitchen gadgets. And in the bedroom, we especially liked the large quilt on the bed, we didn't have to fight over it ;-) The view from our terrace was beautiful, we could even see the towers of San Gimignano! Highly recommendable accommodation.

Excellent communication with Cristina from start to finish. She was very responsive and accommodating, allowing me to stay an extra 45 mins after check-out.
The apartment is a five minute walk from the train station and bus terminal. It is a very neat, tidy, well decorated, modern apartment, with good facilities within. It's exactly like the pics on the website. The local town is a short, 5 minute walk away also, with bars and restaurants.
I used Poggibonsi as a place to stay, to go and visit other nearby places ( San Gimignano ). Cristina's is a perfect place to stay. Great VFM.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice it is.
I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice it is. Much bombed during WWII it still has some historic buildings in the town and in the surroundings including the archeological park, It has good public transport connections and is within easy reach of the spectacular and touristy town of San Gimignano by bus and other places such as the less developed Colle Val d'Elsa.

Great location to make as a base for a few days in Tuscany. Loads of places to drive to everyday. Can drive and park at train station to places like Cinque Terre and Florence instead of driving to these places which will be a nightmare

If you come for a short holiday, maybe you can find a better place. Poggibonsi is not actually bad, but it does have a good non-European population which may not seem like 'real Italy' for you. The town seems a bit run down and dusty so not the ideal place for a vacation. It's the kind of place that shows you clearly that in 30 years the Italian population there will disappear. Otherwise, the place is acceptable and you can access any major landmark from Tuscany fast, with a car of course.

It is a great little town right off the main road between...
It is a great little town right off the main road between Florence and Siena so it is very easy to get too. They have restaurants, shops, and stores in town for everything you need. If you are going for wine country it lies on the far western side of the Chianti Reserve region and is a 45 minute drive to the heart of the wineries.
The house is perfectly located for visiting a lot of places in Tuscany, and is far away enough from Poggibonsi that staying here is relaxing. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking at home, and the outside dining area is covered by a pergola so breakfasts and dinners are alsó enjoyable in the shade. The house is rustic on the outside but modern and comfortable on the inside. Our host was very kind and helpful, self check in and check out was very smooth. Thanks for everything, Elisa!
A large, spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished apartment full of lovely touches - lace curtains, glass container for cotton pads in the bathroom, beautiful blankets and sheets, a great selection of tourist literature and an adorable coffee machine with a choice of coffees. The hosts are exceptionally kind and helpful. The apartment is very conveniently located close to the stations of Poggibonsi, so you can explore Siena and San Gimigniano and come back to great comfort in the evening.
Casa Orneto is a little paradise near San Gimignano. Apartment is new and spotless with wonderful garden where you can enjoy sunset and the view on San Gimignano’s precious fortress. Host Silvia and her husband will make your stay absolutely unforgettable, such a marvelous human beings. Can’t wait to visit again this Tuscany’s jewel.
The people were lovely and extremely knowledgeable about the area and the history of the hotel! The property is gorgeous. The pool was nice and the breakfast was great. The bathroom had a large shower and excellent water pressure.
