We enjoyed the breakfast. The rooms were very clean. We enjoyed the quiet and rural setting. Pizzo had much less tourists than Amalfi coast and Rome. Our host was very helpful, arraigned a scooter for rent, recommended restaurants. He collected us at the station and took us back. He assisted us with booking our next tickets for our further stay in Italy.

It is a beautiful and comfortable studio apartment. Pizzo is also a fascinating little town with a fort, narrow and winding streets and the sea. Our host was very kind and waited for us even when we arrived late and got lost in the town. Parking can be tricky, but doable a few minutes walk away. Breakfast is on the main square in the bar, which was fun. We got a delicious cappuccino and croissant.
Boasting a terrace and views of sea, La Meridiana - centro storico di Pizzo is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Pizzo, 500 metres from Pizzo Beach.

Period property with clean facilities. It was spacious and airy. I liked being in the piazza as it was very convenient but conversely that meant that it was loud at night until quite late.
The average price per night for a 3-star hotel in Pizzo this weekend is £95 or, for a 4-star hotel, £218. Looking for something even fancier? 5-star hotels in Pizzo for this weekend cost on average around £236 per night (based on Booking.com prices).

Pizzo is a lovely authentic town, the beach area is lovely but note it’s very steep and if arriving from the train station get in a tuk tuk, the roads have no pavements and quite windy- to be expected from an authentic place but if we had known we would have got the tuk tuk.
Try Piccolo BBB down on the low road - gorgeous place, food excellent and surroundings 2nd to none.

A small town with an amazing spirit and wonderful people! Try tartufo - a local ice cream delicacy at Gelateria "Ercole" in the city center. Sorry we didn't stay longer but we will be back again!

Sleepy seaside town that was welcoming.
Sleepy seaside town that was welcoming. Pizzo beach is sandy and protected by the wall. The town is filled with small delights - like the many fountains, and the main square. The town is famous for it's ice-creams in particular Tartufo and it's fresh tuna.

Fab little town with an old, central piazza and a beach, promenade area. Lots of restaurants and opportunities to taste Tartufo, the local ice cream. On a clear day you can see the volcanic island of Stromboli.

We stopped here on our way to Tropea and could’ve stayed longer. There was a lively feel to the town, but it was also very peaceful and relaxing we especially recommend the restaurant Chili Pepper for dinner.

This is one of the best bookings we’ve ever made.
This is one of the best bookings we’ve ever made. The guest house is in the center of town, 1 min to town square, 5 to beach, 20 walk (or quick tuktuk) to train station. The house was pristine, super clean, and had everything we needed and more. Beautiful balcony with seating, large bathroom and great kitchen. Caterina was a great host and managed contactless check in well; she was very flexible with our check out requirements too. Breakfast was provided at a cafe nearby and the food and service was lovely. We would recommend this house to everyone.
Beautiful suite in a villa- the King room spotless and was lovely- pretty flooring and gorgeous ceiling. It was spacious and comfortable and the kitchen/ dining table was an added bonus for our evening snack and breakfast. Easy access from the road to the home with large parking area. We enjoyed the short walk into the pretty little town. Bruno, the host, was communicative and welcoming. We were passing through and only stayed one night but we were happy to have found this accommodation and town along our journey.
This hidden gem beyond exceeded my expectations. Beautiful colour scheme, amazing views from the junior suite. They upgraded us to on arrival because I showed up with extra guests. The staff were so friendly and hospitable, I’ve never had that experience before. I’m coming from overseas and not knowing much English, everything was really smooth, and they were very welcoming. I will return as soon as I’m back in Pizzo ❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely friendly staff and owners. Perfect breakfast with good coffee and a great view. Fast reaction to questions and issues. The description "sea view" was a bit exxaggerated, but the room was clean and perfectly fine as we mostly use the hotel rooms just for sleeping. The location was awesome to explore Pizzo. Parking is generally difficult in Pizzo, but using the parking information from the owners it was flawless.
The B and B was very nice - centrally located right next to the square and a 20 minute walk to the Pizzo train station (not Vibo-Pizzo). Franco was great offering us coffee and pastries when we arrived. He allowed us to check in a bit early too. The bathroom was spotless and the room was clean and comfortable. It was a little hard for us to find with our GPS so just call Franco if you have the same trouble.
I've read the other reviews, and I can see what they mean. However, this is a budget hotel (the grand in the name really should be removed) bordering on a holiday camp. It's a roof over your head. There is no workable wi-fi. And the flooring seems to crack inside and outside. However the staff were keen and friendly. And the location and parking suited breakfast was passable. The pool was huge.
Everything was perfect. Our host Signor Renato was very kind and helpful. The location was right in the middle of old town of Pizzo. The Apartament was very clean with everything you need on vacation (even basic cleaning and kitchen products). The view from balcony is on the sea and you can feel the life of Pizzo as well. We recommend Azzurra for everone especially families and couples.
Food was great. Location was great. The pool was amazing. The staff was exceptional. They went above and beyond our expectations. We have been traveling throughout italy and found this hotel to be the best. We wish we had booked more time there. It is family owned and they made us feel like we were part of the family. I hope to go back and will recommend it to my family and friends.
Angels Home is situated right at the heart of Pizzo. Everything is close. Less than a minute to the main square. The rooms are in a historical building. Hall way is old and majestetic - just like from a movie. Apartments themselves are nice and bright. You can use fully equipped kitchen. Free coffee, tea, pastry, even youghurt and some fruits. Very nice experience 🥰!
The size of the property gave it an intimate feel. The decor was just stunning and the staff was kind and accommodating. Especially liked the electric car transport to their own lovely beach club and the beautiful breakfast on the roof top terrace. One of the nicest small hotels I have ever stayed in!!
Beautifully kept gardens with private path to a pristine beach. Our family enjoyed a couple of days exploring the Pizzo area and discovered such an amazing part of Italy. So relaxing and easy drive to Pizzo town for dinner or shops. The beach is one of the best we’ve experienced in Italy!
This house had THE MOST STUNNING VIEWS we’ve found in Italy. The kitchen has everything you need for making great meals, the owner was so kind to leave condiments in the kitchen, and even laundry detergent in the laundry room! Super Italian home, making it the best experience:)
The apartment has everything you need and more , for a short or long stay . It’s an authentic large and comfortable apartment with soul and I feel that Greta has lived there .It’s situated in the old part of Pizzo a little bit from the shopping street but still very close .
We loved the location, it's just a dream. The villa has a lovely garden and from here and the balconies you have breathtaking views over the sea.
Everybody was very friendly and helpful. We were really sorry to leave and will definately stay in Villa Angelieri again.
amazing tranquil sanctuary, hidden away on the hills of Pizzo. perfect for a relaxing, quiet break. the rooms are super clean, the beds were very comfortable. the hotel employs the friendliest and most accomodating staff, many thanks to them!
Very clean apartment and our host was very cheery and helpful to make our stay enjoyable. The location was excellent ,near the main square of the old part of Pizzo. The studio apartment was spacious with an adjoining terrace.
It’s a hidden gem. Beautiful surroundings, extremely clean, very well decorated (high standards) and the hosts make you feel very welcome.
Przepiękne miejsce, minuta do plaży i pięć minut do uroczego miasteczka Pizzo.
A perfect place in 7 minutes walk from Pizzo main embarkment and 15 minutes from the city center. A car parking for free. Beaches are located right next to the road.
