Loved the "quirky" nature of the hotel. A cross between a museum and a hotel. I had carved birds outside my room. Breakfast was nice. I also ate dinner in the hotel. The pool on the roof was strange but I loved it.

Everything was great, from the location, cleanliness and staff. The spa is exceptional, there are no crowds and everything is at a high level, yet very intimate and special because the hotel does not have a large capacity and there are no large crowds at the pool and in the whirlpool. We especially liked the approach of the owners of the hotel, Mrs. Barbara and Mr. Roman, who did their best to host us. Also, the food in the hotel is excellent for both breakfast and dinner, especially the course dinner, which impressed us greatly. We will definitely return to this hotel next ski season.

San Vigilio di Marebbe is a good starting point for Kronplatz. You can go up and find good places where it not necessary to go down after whole day using black slopes.
There are also a good restaurants there. Enjoy!

A nice little mountain town.
A nice little mountain town. It has a surprisnigly large supermarket and some other stores. The main feature, of course, is the Kronplatz ski center. From San Vigilio you have the start for two lines - the top of Kronplatz and Piculin which offers amazing view and some nice places for afternoon lunch.

This is an excellent ski resort for learners with a long, shallow piste leading back from Kronplatz. Also excellent for intermediates and some wonderfully long black runs to get the lactic going - the 5km Silvester run is a personal favourite, go early!

A small but lovely town in south Tyrol, easy reachable from the main roads and motorway. It is definitely worth to dine out in one of the lovely restaurants in town, they do know what good food is here! We tried Osteria Plazores, Ristorante Erika and Restaurant/Steakhouse Tabarel. Especially the first two stood out in terms of food and service. Highly recommended! Everything in town is within short walking distance and in winter San Vigilio Di Marebbe is your perfect base to visit famous skiing areas like Kronplatz/Plan de Corones and Alta Badia/Sellaronda, the latter via the "Connecting Skiers" bus service.

The village is absolutely beautiful - typical Dolomite village, smaller in size, off the main road, perfect for families and people looking for peace, quiet, amazing mountains, wonderful food and a great experience.
It's great both during the winter and the summer, because apart from skiing there are many other activities, both for adults and kids.
It's very family friendly, also because of its smaller size, and it has everything one needs from a vacation.

Beautiful location and the perfect hotel for the chance to relax and unwind.
The hotel spa had everything we needed and we made regular use of the facility to rest weary limbs after enjoying some of the incredible cycle routes and sight-seeing walks in the vicinity.
We'd also been well catered for at breakfast thanks to plenty of variety and the hotel's attentive staff.
Great hotel run by great people. The atmosphere is excellent. The staff is helpful and there's absolutely everything you need. The pool and wellness area are of high standards. Breakfast was excellent.
Skiers have access to a ski room directly from the outside. There is large parking facilities at the front and at the back. Everything works smoothly.
We received a very friendly welcome and felt very comfortable from the first minute of our stay. The owners create a very family atmosphere and the hotel offers everything you could want after a day of skiing. Breakfast and dinner are served with local products and high quality. The nearby parking space included in the price was also very practical.
Staff was very friendly, hotel was very unique with its own automobile museum. Room was clean and bed was very cosy. The shared balcony was definitely a plus. Breakfast was very tasty with a large variety of options. Lastly, the location was unbeatable - right by Kronplatz and very close to Abtei/Badia and Bruneck.

Sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, a wonderful setting in nature…..this hotel has it all.
Dinner and breakfast were nothing short of spectacular.
But the real standout were the folks running the hotel - the owners. Just lovely and caring people.
This is the third year in the row that we return to this hotel. The main reason is that we feel treated as part of the family and everything else is simply great. The food is exquisite, the rooms are clean and spacious, the location is perfect, just few steps from the lifts and city center.
It s the perfect stay if you are going skiing. Amazing location, everything is really organized in such way that it makes it easy for you to come in and go out of the hotel to go to the skilifts. Rooms are big and clean, views are amazing and the staff is friendly and very helpful.

La Para is a beautiful hotel on the side of the mountain overlooking San Vigilio. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is a water fountain, and play area for the kids. The food is amazing, and the views are impossible to beat. There are nice hikes near the hotel.
Absolutely new comfortable hotel. Excellent spa, indoor pool, very warm rooms( winter season). Very friendly staff. Cozy bar with special local beverages. Late checkout room was a great service for a small price.
Breakfast was excellent! Walking distance to everything in the town, comfortable bed, perfect temperature in the room. Hotel provided a tourist pass which I didn't get to use but I would have been happy to!
