The old architecture is well kept and it is well worth a visit.

I stayed in a place (apartment) that smelled quite bad on entry. The apartment was on the last floor with no lift access. It wasn’t anywhere near the centre. Went for a walk to get some food. Everything was closed. Lucky after a very long walk to find a pizza place. The shower was so small you could move much without hitting the very poorly installed plastic doors. Very disappointed.

Didn’t like the stairs as we need to take dogs outside at difficult times day and night, however, we coped ok. The little balcony was perfect.
The breakfast was excellent catering for all tastes.
I had a wonderful stay at the La Bussola in Novara, Italy. The hotel is conveniently located near the city center and has a charming atmosphere. The rooms are very well equipped, with comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms and modern amenities. The hotel offers private car parking, which is a great plus in this busy area. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fresh and local products. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist me with any request.
We stopped for one night on our way to Venice. A very simple hotel, clean, pleasant and quiet. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the receptionist (girl), she was actually very helpful! The breakfast was good. WiFi connection is free and very good. Parking is free. A nearby shopping area is available after a 10-minute drive. I would stay again. For the price of 55 euros, we got a nice, decent-sized room, warm and cozy, with a good bathroom.
Great little hotel in Novara run by a sweet couple. I stayed here once almost 4 years ago and always remembered how good it was. So, I came back again during my next trip to the city. Rooms are really nice with attractive pricing. Highly recommended !
Vely is a very nice person, always available to help. We were new to Italy and she explained how things worked, helped with indications and tips about what to do in specific cases. Her place is very cozy, clean and comfortable.
