Beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Peaceful and serene location with bird song added into the mix. Modern and comfortable room. We spend most of our time on the balcony. Breakfasts were excellent. The staff provided me with a selection of gluten free breads and tarts, which was wonderful.

Loved that it's a bit on the side of the city, so you feel like it's just you and the lake. But you should get a room with a lake view. Also nice beach just outside, the city is just 5 mins walking. Nice restaurant downstairs.

We were worried about driving up the mountain but it was not difficult at all, so the location was perfect, peaceful and amazing. We left the car the whole time we stayed and took the gondola down to Molveno which was a beautiful little town. The hotel was modern, clean and friendly.

We visited Molveno in April, low season. The village exceeded our expectations especially since it had recently snowed and the surrounding mountains were covered in snow. Lake Molveno is spectacular especially when viewed from the mountain tops. A cable car takes you to snow covered mountain tops with breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

Molveno was picturesque, and a great location to access hikes and mountain biking trails. We visited end of September and had the best weather anyone could ask for. Great for an active family holiday.

Probably the most beautiful town we have ever visited. Easy to walk everywhere with pavements, very clean, flowers in the entire town. The Funivie Molveno lift is a must as on a clear day you get beautiful views of the lake from the Pradel mountain top as well as an interesting 2 hour hike around Sciury Park. Best hotel to stay at is Du Lac, everything was truly genuine and perfect. For Pizza and beer we recommend Taverna La Botte. We stayed for 2 nights but there are enough outdoor activities and nearby villages to keep you busy for a week. 100% recommended!

The city of Molveno is very nice, including the surrounding area around Lago di Molveno. The supermarket in Andalo is awfully overpriced. The ski lifts are bit old-fashioned, we would recommend visiting the area in summer
We absolutely loved this hotel! The check in/out experience was swift and polite, the breakfast buffet was lovely and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. The view from the terrace with the jacuzzi was absolutely amazing (and the jacuzzi was seldom full), both during the day and in the evening. On one occasion we decided to have dinner in the hotel's restaurant, the food was impeccable! The staff were very welcoming and polite and helped you out with any and all requests that we had during our stay. Definitely would recommend.
Location was incredible. We had a lake view room and a balcony to enjoy the view of Lago Molveno. Rooms are exceptional. Large and clean. Beds very comfortable.
The staff are very helpful and kind. Offered us a room upgrade and suggestions for which trails to hike. Generous breakfast with a wide variety and delicious and opportunity to stay for a set price dinner. Spa and sauna room is outstanding with everything provided after a day of hiking.
Everything was spick and span. Our room was large and cozy, the mattress was top notch and there was a hugely wide terrace to use, with a table, some chairs and a sunscreening umbrella. The little fridge under the room desk proved to be very useful.
The lady at the reception kindly let us keep our luggage in the hotel for a few hours before our departure. She also provided us with some useful information every time we needed.
We stayed at Hotel Garni Lago for Xterra World Championships. They were perfect, from accepting shipment of our bike ahead of our stay, to accommodating our check-in times, to providing helpful information for our stay. The breakfast was wonderful. And the accommodations were great. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we had a great balcony with a view. We are hoping to return next year.
Kind staff, great breakfast, very flexible when we had to leave the next morning before official checkout. Our room had a full view of the lake and the mountains (#306). The balcony was an added treat. The hotel is off of the main road, yet still close enough to anything you could want (food, shopping, transportation, hiking trails). Can't beat all that for the very good price!
I appreciated the professionalism and the kindness of the hotel staff, the quality of the facilities, the readyness of the ski-navette service, the superb lake view and the calmness of the old city centre (the old church is right in front of the hotel). The hotel meet all our demands and expectations, I'd suggest it without hesitations.
Location was fabulous with a lovely view and privacy, dog friendly, hiking trails on site next to creek, kinds hosts, clean, comfortable and well appointed with dishwasher, microwave, and clothing washer. The nearby bakery was delicious and Molveno lake a 5 minute drive.
The family that owns this hotel is incredibly kind and generous. When we left, we felt like we were leaving family! This hotel was the best stay so far on our trip. The hotel is spotless and comfortable. The town of Molveno is a hidden gem!
