We arrived late in the evening as we booked the hotel quite spontaneously. Great that they have a 24-hour reception. The room was very modern and the breakfast had a good variety. Thank you!

Located in the heart of Modena shopping center with so many historical sights and attractions all around, it makes it the ideal accommodation in town! The big plus was the very hospitable staff greeting the customers and going above and beyond our expectations. For example it was raining heavily the first 2 days and although they had given out all the umbrellas available at the hotel, so the receptionist gave us their own umbrella to use for our walk. Plus so many more little things provided that makes the difference!
Take advantage of the free car park and free Wi-Fi at Hotel Lux. It is close to the A1 motorway exit, 3 km from the centre of Modena. This family-run hotel features modern guest rooms.

Cozy feel in the Center—cobblestones, porticos, Mercato Albinelli, Enzo Ferrari Museum, incredible food, particularly Uva d’Oro restaurant (went to dinner there twice as it was so enjoyable) and Sant’Agostino three times for late afternoon aperitivi.

This was a really lovely city with an extensive pedestrian town centre. The Duomo is a highlight, the covered market is charming (it re-opens in the evening with a variety of what seem like pop-up restaurants) and the very grand town hall was worth a visit. You are spoilt for choice for restaurants - we liked Stallo Pomodoro and Da Danilo for dinner- both had outside terraces, and for lunch, Aldina, a very traditional no frills trattoria on the first floor near the market. Blums, a prize-winning gelateria, served the best ice cream I had on this trip.

Really a treat, Modena deserves to be better known.
Really a treat, Modena deserves to be better known. A beautiful and walkable city, with magnificent food, good and variegated shops, and did I mention the magnificent food? The Galleria Estense is an excellent museum (with all information in Italian and English). Opening hours for churches are a bit intransparent (and not always kept), but the city is definitely worth a trip!

A beautiful town not overrun by tourists or tourism, with good restaurants, lovely sites, and extremely well kept buildings. It is easily walkable (no tourist cars in the center). If there was something to avoid, I could not find it.
Very Superb apartment with complete package for families vacation, Spacious room and very clean. Good Wi-Fi connection and with you tube / Netflix provided. Suitable for families with car (under ground parking provided) coz distance to down town requires some mode of transportations. Heating was also superb adding with multiple air conditioning feels like home. The host also provide sufficient toiletries and basic snack much appreciated. Definitely one of the best apartment that our family enjoy in Italy.
This hotel was terrific! Conveniently located to everything! Parking was easy and close! We were greeted warmly by the front desk upon arrival! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable! We were recommended a great local restaurant down the street was excellent! The hotel had a breakfast that was delicious and had a full menu with eggs and fresh baked goods! We visited the Ferrari museum which was in walking distance. A super hotel that must be visited when you come to Modena!
Hotel is perfect for staying in the heart of Modena. I did have to change rooms as there was much construction going on right outside our window. Was surprised that they even put anyone in that area of the hotel as it did not seem to be booked up. But the staff did not hesitate to give us another room which was very quite. The rooms could use some upgrades but it was clean and what I expected for the age of the hotel. The grounds were beautiful and a surprise actually.
This hotel is a real gem! We had a beautiful clean modern room with a lovely traditional old balcony with city views. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we even got to check in 2 hours earlier. Perfect location with only a short walk into town centre but restaurants and bars nearby. The breakfast was very good and set you up for the day Private shaded parking too. Been travelling through France and Italy for 2 weeks and this little hotel was my favourite.
The room was very clean and the children loved being able to watch YouTube on the TV. The staff is very efficient and helpful. We received clear instructions via WhatsApp to find the hotel and enable the keyless lock and could immediately access the room without wait. And THE BEST PART: I forgot my Kindle in the room and they ensured I got it back without going back to Modena!! Five stars just for the honesty and all the coordination effort to return my Kindle.
Tucked away from the bustle of Modena, this modern hotel offers a serene escape with sleek, stylish rooms that exude contemporary elegance. Each room is thoughtfully designed, blending comfort and sophistication seamlessly. The highlight? The impeccably designed bathrooms, boasting luxurious amenities and pristine cleanliness. Impeccable design meets unparalleled comfort in this chic retreat, promising a truly memorable stay.
My partner and I stayed at Villa Iris due to it's proximity to Modena and the balsamic vineyards around. Even though we arrived late and left early, the instructions provided were spot on and we were able to get in and out at ease. If only I had more time to stay in Modena, I would have loved to stay here longer and explored the neighborhood longer.
It was a business travel and CDH Hotel seemed to be the best cost-benefit option. And it was. Fast checkin, helpful staff, breakfast is excellent with very friendly staff. Same goes to front deskl staff. Rooms are big and very clean. Free outdoor parking and a short driving distance from Modena downtown. We really appreciated our stay.
The location of the hotel is perfect and close to a lot of things you'd like to see.
The room we stayed in was cozy and nice, with a view to the street. And the bed was comfortable:)
The staff was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
In general, we wouls choose this place for our next stays in beautiful Modena.
Look at this building, it’s beautiful. It has high ceilings, it’s clean, and it has an Italy in the 70s vibe. Breakfast is reasonable and optional - no pressure! The bar has drinks, the walk to town is short. It has parking. Modena is a great jumping off point and not too crowded!!
Breakfast is excellent, lots of variety of food. The location is good, 10 minutes walk to the center. Also, a 10-minute walk to the bus station where the bus to the airport and the bus to the central train station stops. The staff is friendly. The hotel is clean.
Hotel not far from Modena city center, easy to reach from the highway.
A few restaurants in the immediate vicinity which is handy when traveling for business.
The hotel has a private parking lot.
Good breakfast in the morning, I enjoyed it!
Great location and central. I like the fact that parking are included as its a real issue in Italy. The place is easy to find and the directions are great. The bathroom is spacious. The host is really nice and gives great assistance.
Lovely hosts, very comfortable beds, beautiful terrace for relaxing outside and an absolutely amazingly generous breakfast spread. We might just need to come back to Italy to stay here again’
breakfast was simple, a small sandwich, coffee and juice. I found it very little for the daily rate. The location, outside the hotel, was very pleasant.
