The staff’s professionalism is on a high level and worth praise. The personnel seem keen on realising every wish of guests. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. Meticulously labelling dishes is a commendable initiative in and of itself. The dishes were handpicked, local and beautifully decorated, as were the delightful desserts, especially the orange cake. A friendly team ensures guests are satisfied, dishes are decorated, and that select fruit never runs out. We must also praise the selection of local meat delicacies and cheeses. Even the coffee was splendid, as apt for a region home to Italy's coffee capital - Trieste. Hotel Franz is an excellent choice if you desire an excellent breakfast during your next hotel stay.

The staff and owner of this place are amazing could not do enough to help me.The food is of a high standard the breakfast had a great selection of different cheeses meat bread and granola pots.I will 100% be back next year and the place is in a lovely area near the Izonzo river.

Our brief stay at Hotel Franz was absolutely lovely. The staff was super attentive and helpful. They truly went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. The room was spacious, modern and fitted our needs spectacularly. The breakfast (€8) was a great deal and very delicious. The pool and outdoor areas were well maintained. The lunch we had brought to our room was tasty and we paid a fair price.
Overall we had a great stay at Hotel Franz and would definitely stay again!
The location of this fantastic hotel is ideal. Rooms were a good size and exceptionally clean. A small complimentary fridge with a couple of soft drinks and water daily. All the staff are super helpful, professional and friendly. Just a short stroll to numerous cafes. The breakfast is great with a good variety of choices. The bar open outside every evening is wonderful with a very helpful and friendly person looking after you.

During the night it was noisy from the traffic.
According to photos on booking we expected sauna as facility but it turned out that sauna is in some rooms, they kindly offered us possibility to change the room type to one with sauna for higher price.
Hi, this is very cozy really italian hotel with amazing atmosphera! We came afternoon and were really surprised. Nice parking, all is green around, nice food and very taste coffee.

Central town location, great and safe parking, updated/modern room. Located near town square with Sunday market and nice easy vibes. Pizzeria across the street that offers take out and hotel restaurant on site.
Very helpful staff. The restaurant co-located with the hotel was very handy. Very comfortable (we had arrived on bicycles in pouring rain and were soaked). Perfect stop off after a challenging day's cycling.
