Foligno is a pleasant little town - not a lot to see but...
Foligno is a pleasant little town - not a lot to see but lots of eating and drinking options, a few shops, an attractive central piazza (although the cathedral has been closed for years), a nice park with loads of seats, a cafe and an excellent playground for children. There's even a river if you look hard enough. However we stayed there primarily for the rail access to nearby places like Assisi and Perugia.

This was our second trip to Foligno, very lively place, excellent quality food and some similarly good towns like Montefalco and Bevagne nearby or even Narni not too far away. Nice place to spend quality time.

Fogliono to me is a very practical town with good access...
Fogliono to me is a very practical town with good access either by road or rail. For the final part of our hike along the via del Francesco, it was ideal. we also discovered there are many really good restaurants, shops, places to visit. The staff in the tourist office are extremely helpful.
Absolutely wonderful. The people here put so much love and effort in this place. The little details! We enjoyed the regional and fresh food. Foligno is a great transport knot to discover Umbria by train. We arrived here without a car and were not afraid of the 40 minute walk to the center of the city. Sometimes they drove us to the station, we were very grateful for that! Such heaven of a place for all the earth angels longing for peace and beauty.
This place is incredible. Dont hesitate to book. The entire apartment is large, comfy, airy and sparkling clean with many awesome extras like a dishwasher and aircon, Tvs etc
The 2 bedrooms are very large with great cupboard space.
The location is brilliant. A quick 3min walk to the station and or a 1 minute walk to the beautiful town of Foligno.
this is the perfect place, to make your home whilst making day trips around Italy.
The owner of the Villa, Sara, was an exceptionally welcoming and helpful person. We enjoyed every minute of this very comfortable place that felt like home. Not far from the historical center, relieving conditioning on hot summer days and extremely caring and generous personnel who offered to take us to the nearest towns. One of the towns, Spello, is a real gem and it is only five minute drive from Foligno. We are very greatful!
After that first night,which was the disaster there was never such a problem. Dinner never lasted so long in other days- we thought that there was family of the owners and some party happening there (on Sunday swimming pool was full with people- looked like in a hotel rather than in agroturismo.
But since Monday it started to be a place where it is calm and where you can chillout.
A charming apartment located in the centre of the old town, and a warm welcome from the owner Paolo. The bedrooms were very spacious and beautifully decorated, and the lounge/kitchen were comfortable. The property was very clean. The hotel is located within a couple of minutes from the main square and attractions and there are plenty of restaurants and bars in the area too.

Great studio apartment in the historic section of Foligno. Walking distance to shops, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. Easy check in. Friendly and responsive host. Room was comfortable and quiet. The kitchenette was well stocked. Access to a washing machine was a plus!
The lady who managed the hotel was very friendly. The room itself was clean and adequate to my needs and was a good value for the money. The hotel is only a five-minute walk to the train station and is proximate to the middle of town.
The apartment was quite comfortable and the pool area and communal terrace were nice. The hotel was well located for reaching nearby places of interest like Foligno, Perugia and Trevi. It was quite peaceful and parking was easy.

Beautiful location above Foligno between the olive trees. Nice international breakfast, a good restaurant , local wines, own very delicious oil and very engaged and friendly service staff!!
All the members of the staff are definitely kind. The hotel is in a good position, in the city center and not far from the railway station (a few minute walk).
