Check in was super easy and the city bikes a great extra to cycle into the centre/shops. We were welcomed to an already cool flat and complimentary items (breakfast snacks, Nutella bars, soft towels, extra pillows etc.) were a nice touch. The host is super helpful, really responsive and happily helped us book a taxi to Florence airport and changed the time for us early in the morning too!

We used Empoli as a base as the train station offered many possibilities as a central hub. We did however really enjoy a lovely walk in the scenic hills. The center was clean and had a really nice vibe to it and the locals were very friendly. We were also told by a historian that the city had a good museum of art although we didn't have time to investigate further unfortunately due to time.

The apartment was lovely and very comfortable. The surroundings had lovely scenery and the nearby town was vibrant. Public transportation was quite a challenge and getting a taxi was not much easier. You can get most places by walking but if you have mobility issues you will struggle. I would definitely stay again though, very nice place! 😁

A gorgeous authentic Italian town just outside Florence with great train routes to Siena, Lucca, Pisa and Cinque Terre. It's the perfect location if you're planning to have a Tuscan base to explore the area but don't want to pay Florence prices. The locals are all friendly and look out for everyone.

We went for a wedding so most of the day we were out ,the wedding venue is 5 minutes walk away so the location was ideal ,the hotel had all the facsilities but we didn'thave a chance to cook at all,there was a swimming pool too didn't have time to enjoy a dip as we were very busy with the wedding . Beautiful scenic place indeed
The owners put in a great deal of effort with this hotel - everything you need and good quality. Breakfast buffet was good and staff very pleasant and helpful. Super location right opposite railway station so ideal for train into Florence. About a 5/10 minute walk into town with lots of shops, bars and restaurants.
Everything was very good. The place is only 10 min from the rail station by foot and Empoli is in a strategic place. 30 min from Florence, about an hour from Siena and 30 min from Pisa (all by train)! Many good restaurants near the apartment.
