Arrived very late and hungry. I asked the staff if there is any place I can get some food but unfortunately nothing was open. They were very kind and made me a toast even after their shift. Thank you again!
The place was cozy, it felt like home. And the breakfast made me smile every morning.
I also got a card that allowed me to hop on a bus and travel (South Tyrol) completely free of charge.

Set in Chiusa, Gasthof Klostersepp is easily accessible and located next to the main road. Windows are sound-proof to cancel out the noise and make sure our guests sleep well.
comodo il garage , ma anche il parcheggio esterno.
Chiusa is amazing.
It simply has everything: good for sightseeing and slow walking through the city (it is very small, so you will see everything) or for cycling (2 destinations, quite a long way there, plan in advance), or for hiking (To Säben, ~30 min upstairs and according to my fitness tracker ~ 40 floors, don’t forget a comfortable shoes and water).
It is very cozy and beautiful. It’s indeed one of the most beautiful little cities of Italy. I’ll consider other cities from the same list (I Borghi piu belli italiani).
Good for 2 full days, or more if incl. cycling to both nearby cities.
This hotel is a hidden gem. I only have good things to say, really - nice, helpful staff who speak English, extremely clean and comfy rooms, delicious breakfast and coffee. Even though it's in a central location, it's very quiet inside as long as the windows are shut. The town it is situated in, Chiusa/Klausen, is very charming and well placed if you're interested in the hiking spots nearby. Even when the parking is full, the staff still has a solution for you. I would gladly come back here.
Everything was excellent! Old charming building with perfect renovated interior. The breakfest was one of the best we have ever had during our travels. Our dinner at hotel restaurant was also great. The locality was in the city center but during our stay very quiet. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. We parked our car 5 minut from the hotel at the public parking (5 euro per day).
Everything was perfect at Ansitz Fonteklaus; breakfast, very friendly staff and location. Hotel is located at the hill with amazing view which you can enjoy drinking local wine which I actually recommend. Atmosphere was great at I will definetely visit again and for sure for longer perios as I stayed only 2 days there.
Welcoming, friendly and attentive staff. Garage parking and cold air conditioning in the room. During the record setting heat wave it was such a comfort to come back to the Goldener Adler each day. Traveled all over Italy during July and this was my favorite hotel due to friendly staff and well appointed room.
This is a beautiful hotel with artistic touches throughout. We stayed in the annex portion and it was very large and quiet. We loved the entire property including the expansive, modern dining area and the playground outside for our son. The breakfast buffet had everything we could want. We highly recommend this hotel!
Very good hotel with history. Beautiful view from the window to the monastery on the mountain. Friendly staff, clean, good breakfast, pool. Unfortunately we were only a very short time away. Would love to come back again, because understood that the hotel is very conveniently located to visit many tourist places
Our apartment was stunning, great attention to detail. The building had a lot of history and was very interesting. Perfect location and the parking was great. We had a delicious breakfast and dinner was the best pizza and apple strudel I have ever had. Most of the staff were lovely and helpful.
The hotel looks newly renovated, the rooms are clean and the bathrooms are great! They have a nice sauna, jacuzzi, pool which were always empty when we were there but there are a lot of options to relax in the hotel after a long day of hiking. The pizzeria downstairs is very convenient also.
Excellent breakfast! Great variety of bread, cold meets, cheese, cereals, juices, different sorts of milk, bubbly.... Also warm breakfast available.
The roof terrace facilities are fab! 2 whirlpools and lots of sun chairs.
Small but nice pool in the garden.
The hotel is very clean!
Very nice and cozy place and a gorgeous restaurant. The staff at the hotel and restaurant was very friendly and helpful in our requests and suggestions for the places to visit during our stay, taking into consideration it was Christmas time 😍
Extremely spacious and clean. The location is also very convenient as it close by to the town center and a big parking lot.
The breakfast is also amazing, so many variety :)
