This was hands down the best accommodation we’ve stayed at! The house was spotless, comfortable, and offered stunning views. It had everything we needed, from kitchen utensils and cookware to even pasta! The linens, towels, and blankets were exceptionally clean, and there were plenty provided. Despite our very late check-in due to a ferry issue, the hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating. On the day of our departure, we couldn’t find a taxi to the ferry terminal, and the host generously drove us there in her own car. Absolutely fantastic experience!

The property was simply beautiful, with everything you could hope for as an escape. Francesca and Manuela did everything they could to make us feel special and the trip unforgettable. Manuela’s breakfasts and mojito’s were sensational. Francesca saved us from being stranded at the train station. It was the beauty of the property and the tram there that created a magical experience for us. Whilst we are far away in Australia it is very easy to wish we could come back tomorrow.

We stayed at a wonderful place with a stunning view of the lake. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay – even though the sofa bed was foldable, it was very comfortable, as were the pillows. The location was quiet and perfect for relaxation. If we ever return to the lake, we will definitely choose this apartment again!

A very good and well equipped apartment. We had everything we needed: a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a microwave, electric cooking stove, all the dishes you want, a dishwasher plus washing gel, an espresso machine (and capsules), sugar, salt, vinegar, oil. Fully equipped bathroom plus a washing machine (and gel), 2 bedrooms and a big sofa that opens to a wide bed in the living room.
The location is perfect. Just in the heart of the main street, with lake view. We didn't hear the street noise at all.
We didn't use the T.V. but we enjoyed music with the Bluetooth speaker that was in the apartment.
Everything was clean, new, well and functionally designed.
The owners were reachable though we didn't meet them in person, they answerd all our questions and sent us a very detailed check-in instructions.
We couldn't chose better.
We saw the best and worst of Bellano. We had torrential rain on day 1 that curtailed our sightseeing but the sun returned on day 2 and we saw the sights and had a swim in the lake. It has lots of nice places to eat or have a coffee. We didn't have time to use the ferry service which enables you to explore other lakeside towns. So we plan to return in the future.

We stayed here because we read reviews of the crowds not being as heavy as other towns, and it's true! Bellano has a more "local" feel and much less crowded, but still busy on the weekend. It's an amazing little town with access to other lake towns. Wish we had more time there.

Fabulous property and host!
Fabulous property and host! Giovanni went above and beyond to welcome us and answer any questions or concerns, both before our arrival and during our stay. The views of the lake are just stunning and we loved sitting out on our own private terrace with a glass of wine enjoying our surroundings. The location is quiet and secluded, but walkable to town, the ferry, and the train station. We were able rent a boat right in the town and enjoyed exploring the lake on our own. We also took the ferry to other towns on the lake and enjoyed the busier, more well known towns as well.

Beautiful Orrido and Cascata are two "must visits" in...
Beautiful Orrido and Cascata are two "must visits" in Bellano for ones loving nature. The SS36 motorway nearby makes your travel with car very easy alongside the whole Eastern part of the lake, meanwhile the rest of the roads along the lake can be full of traffic jams. This to be considered if you chose your location to sleep during the night but travel to explore different venues during the day.

We would highly recommend staying in Bellano.
We would highly recommend staying in Bellano. It was convenient to other villages on the lake and we could be away from the crowds. It was a charming town with great restaurants. The ferry service was most convenient to Bellano.
We were able to travel around the lake easily and looked forward to coming back to our bit of paradise in Bellano!

Our group really liked Bellano.
Our group really liked Bellano. We were looking for a smaller town that was not over-commercialized or overrun with tourists, but not so small that there was nothing to do and the dining options were limited. In Bellano we found nice restaurants & we were particularly fond of the places adjacent to the water where we could dine and watch the lake traffic. The ferry schedule was a bit confusing but we figured it out spent some time on the water as well. In all, Bellano was what we were looking for and we were very happy with our choice. We would come back here again.
The studio was perfect for myself and my two teenage daughters. Ivana had thought of everything, and the flat had all we needed for our one week stay in Bellano. The location was perfect, with a lake view from the outdoor seating area, and short walking distance to restaurants and cafés. The communication from Ivana was excellent, and she left lovely treats for us to enjoy, which were so appreciated. I would absolutely recommend Il Porticciola for a relaxing stay in Bellano.
Views were great, comms were good and very clear, property was very well appointed with everything we needed. Bellano is gorgeous, very chilled out with lots going on and lovely people. There was a designated car parking space outside (if you need a second space there was rarely any available on the spaces outside for reference) fantastic stay thank you
Breakfast was as good as any five-star hotel. And the waitress friendly and helpful. Actually the best breakfast we've had in Italy with plenty of items suitable for a vegetarian. Something to remember!
The location is great - 15 minutes driving from the towns on Lago di Como.
