I honestly cannot fault this hotel in any way - it blew my expectations away. It is very very special, located within one of the finest places I have ever visited. Negatives unfortunately outnumbers the only positive (View from balcony) for Hotel Alpenrose: Breakfast the most discount I have ever experienced (some too old ingredients too), small hard beds unknown material trying to get through the sheets, poor pillows etc. Really a worn out place.
Do yourself af favor and spend the extra bucks elsewhere in order to get a good experience.

the hotel is SUPERB! The view on the lake from the room and from the balcony is amaizing! the location is comfortable for exploring dolomites. A free parking is something valuable. It is a cosy village between Ortisei and Cortina d'Ampezzo. Everyone is super nice, there are good restaurants, and amazing views of the mountains. There is a beautiful river across the village. I would recommend it for a nice, quite and relaxed stay, away from the main villages.

The place is really beautiful and serene. It is close to Cortina D'Ampezzo city and all the nearby cable car stations but we got the room in much cheaper cost in this peak summer time. Specially strolling by the lake during sunset after whole day travel was a beautiful experience.

We were very welcomed by locals who advised and helped us to get up and running with the ski lift passes, hire of kit and lessons.
The locals were very accommodating with the fact that we couldn't speak their language and were helpful in all ways.
Alleghe is a beautiful place and without a doubt, we will be returning.

Great place for skiing lovers.
Great place for skiing lovers. Facilities are very well established, they are still cameral with a touch of the past, but fully professional as far as rentals, instructors and flexibility of ski-pass/points/single run options. The resort is not overcrowded.

The resort is well maintained and all pistes are groomed to perfection every day. The outlying villages are well linked to the main resort and there are enough runs to keep skiers and boarders happy.
We arrived at the hotel late in the evening so the staff provided us with very clear instructions for checking in, making it completely hassle-free. The room was very clean and we were greeted with incredible night time views of the town and lake from our balcony. It was a great surprise to see that we were surrounded by snow capped mountains when we woke up in the morning. The staff were very accommodating and and provided me with vegan options for breakfast.

The single room was specious well decorated, clean and comfortable.
The pool of the hotel is small but provided an excellent opportunity to relax and swim after a long day.

I had twice dinner at the hotel's restaurant- I chose the fixed menu that is offered for the guests: The food was great, big portions and all of that in extremely reasonable pricing.
A great place to stay near Alleghe! Perfect location, just a few minutes away from Alleghe cable car (as a starting point for hiking trips). Very friendly staff. Overall, a very clean and well maintained hotel, all the facilities and services fulfilled our expectations, that's why I definitely recommend La Maison. We stayed as a family of four.
Friendly staff and very good location, hotel has private parking. Really tasty breakfast. Room was big for three people. Private bathroom with towels which was change on the next day. We spent there only two night but I really recommend this hotel. We had balcony with grate views. The town has nice atmosphere.
Hotel and hotel staff were lovely and location was great. Shuttle service was an unexpected bonus and made skiing really convenient and the nearby rental shop, recommended by staff, was great too. They laid on breakfast early the morning we left so we could eat and the breakfast itself was lovely.
Very good location. Nice and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Convenient free parking just about 100 meters from the hotel. Excellent restaurant. But the most important: wonderful people on the reception. They really happy to help with all customer needs.

The hotel is nice, it's true that rooms are quite old fashioned but everything was incredibly clean and confortable. Location is very convenient and all the staff is just wonderful. Breakfast was very good as well!
A nice hotel with old world charm. Very good breakfast and lovely staff. For us, the beds were not very comfortable and the bathroom could do with an update. However, in terms of value for money we were happy.

The breakfast was the one bright spot. That and the location which is at the top of the village of Alleghe.
