The accommodation was exceptional. It is a bit isolated, at 1-2 km from the ring road, with nothing but nature around, making it very quiet. The room is like a small chalet, with a large window next to the bed. As it snowed in the night we stayed, the view from the bed was really nice.
The owner was very considerate and we had a smooth communication. Also, he left us a souvenir for good luck, which we really appreciated.
In the fridge we had some snack for breakfast or for the road.
In a nutshell, we loved this nice, warm and welcoming place.

Apartment was perfect for our group of 4. It has all the facilities, including a dish washer, washing and drying machine, a lot of kitchen cooking stuff! The hot tub was just perfect for us after days of hiking and sleeping in a tent.

I found this accommodation at the last minute on our trip to Iceland. We were caught in very bad weather and it was impossible to camp with our van. Don't look for unnecessary luxury here, but a very efficiently furnished, clean and equipped wooden house with everything you need for an overnight stay. We were given a warm welcome on arrival, minutes after our booking. The very pleasant country atmosphere is enhanced by the two friendly dogs . It's a great choice at a reasonable price. I can definitely recommend this accommodation.

We updated our arrival time, but the hotel did not give a reply. During check in, we showed our reservation letter to a elder staff, but she said no:( and was not friendly. They did also not inform us gate will be closed and the room key can't open the gate!. Because of puncture, we came back to the hotel around 1 o'clock in the morning and the gate was closed. We have to call the staff. Fortunately, that elder staff came to open the gate, but she seemed unhappy and blamed us when we check out.

It’s perfect for a family trip around Iceland.
It’s perfect for a family trip around Iceland. We stay here for five nights. While we were here we rested from our trip around the South. After a resting day we visited the North attractions such as Dettiffos, Godaffos, Myvatn, Grettislaug, and we even managed to visit Grimsey.
The cabin was huge for the two of us, lovely to have space after lots of hotel rooms. We used the full kitchen and enjoyed the hot tub, this was a place we definitely could have stayed longer as so much space.
The hot tub was a bonus and beautiful to sit in, we went in before and after dinner.
Accommodation well appointed. Shower and bathroom facilities nice and clean. Plenty of seating areas. Slightly out of the way if you were not wanting to prepare your own lunch/dinner but neighbouring campsite has a restaurant and town a short drive.
Very comfortable and cosy cabin in a great location just off the Ring Road but in a lovely quiet spot with amazing views. A very friendly welcome from the owners, and of course from Snati - Iceland’s premier canine tourist ambassador.
Simple and authentic Icelandic farm. Facility is clear and you have all the comfort. There are two bathrooms (one a little bit old). the owner is kind and helpful.
