The two guys that run this place have apparently taken it on in the last couple of years and are very enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. There is a pool table in the main “hall” area. We really loved the location - the middle of nowhere, the surrounding was breathtaking, lovely it felt a little bit like visiting grandma. It was very cute and comfortable accomandation, we enjoyed panoramic view from the window (it looked like paiting). Good equiped kitchen, there was also coffee and nice living room with sofa and balcony. We felt very nostalgic about DVD player and many options of the movies and series. The bathroom was also very clean and nice designed. The beds were very comfortable. Its relaxing, queit place near attraction Hvitsekur.

Location is 1km to nearest supermarket, so driving may be better. The quietness and peaceful surroundings. You see sheep’s and horses right in front of your cottage. We felt cold even though we turned up the heater. When I sent a message through the booking site, they were very fast to respond and sent us a heater straight away. So we had a warm and toasty sleep.

Beautifully appointed, amazing and unobstructed seaview, quiet, wonderful beds. We stayed a night in transit but could have stayed a week. In the morning, we ate our breakfast and watched a whale in the bay.
