There were so many things I loved about Hotel Hamar. The staff were brilliant and were so helpful when we had an issue that needed tools to fix.
The views of the mountain range are breathtaking. It was a great choice for my first stay in Iceland.
The location was perfect; not far from Reykjavik airport, near the peninsula, and close to the Rejkholt valley for exploring.
The breakfast was really good and supper menu, while limited, was exceptional.

Wonderfully secluded cottage in the middle of the countryside. Well situated for trips to Snaefellsnes. Very friendly and nice hosts living on with their farm next door. Possibility to book a guided horse ride with one of their icelandic horses, which was a magical experience!
The cottage was well equipped, clean and absolutely cozy. We really enjoyed our stay here and can fully recommend!
