The Villa is beautifully and very tastefully designed. The Hosts were very warm to receive us and also came to see us off. All the facilities were minutely taken care off. Great cottage! It had everything needed, we made use of the super hot tub and gas barbecue! The bed was comfortable and the place looked modern. It was located in a remote place, which is good if you value privacy. You have some attractions nearby, including the glacier and lava caves.
This countryside property, in the Western Iceland town of Borgarfjördur, is next to the Hvítá Glacial River. It offers free Wi-Fi in the reception, as well as an on-site restaurant and bar.

The guest rooms are a new building and were very comfortable with easy external access for northern lights searching.
Breakfast in the large common area was an excellent range of fresh tasty items. The common area has large windows overlooking the beautiful valley and it was so relaxing sipping our coffees looking out over the fields and across to the mountains.
This was one of our favorite stops on our trip around Iceland.

The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The Tower has everything you need (except a hotplate) and the view is really nice. You can also see many details of restoration in the tower which are like a labor of love.

I liked that it was a horse breeding farm and so got to see plenty of beautiful horses grazing. And other animals playing! The landscape was amazing.the cabin was cosy and just perfect. I got a great night's rest after a long day of travel.

Nice, cozy and worm cabbins with relaxing view on the farm. You can stroke sheeps or horses.

We very much enjoyed visiting Hraunfossar and Barnafoss. We loved Krauma and seeing the Deildartunguhver Hot Springs. We ate at Hotel Á and the Rock 'n' Troll restaurant--also one I would recommend.
The property was lovely, very remote in the country side and if you’re going in winter drive carefully. There are plenty of farms nearby, we especially recommend doing a stable visit at the horse farm near reykholt, the rye bread is great! The breakfast was lovely and sitting in the hot tub in the cold was magical.
Remote location but this is the charm of Iceland. Interesting to pop in to nearby town of Reykholt. Really enjoyed the hot tub, watching the stars. Everything we needed was there. Good communications from host.
The location was ideal for exploring the Snaefellsness Peninsula and the area around Reykholt. The kitchen was well equipped and sleeping under the stars was amazing!
