The entire facility was immaculate and even on a very rainy windy day it was great to sit at different vantage points in the hotel and enjoy the view. The Staff was also great in waking us up for the Northern Lights and sharing the experience with us.
The Greenhouse hotel has 7 restaurants and a bar in its food hall, Icelandic designer stores, Icecream and a local food market.

A very modern and beautiful in all ways plus I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the fact without knowing beforehand that all I happened to need was within the building which was amazing for a 24-hour stay. A major convenience as it was a last-minute decision to book an overnight stay when I needed to go to an event in the close area and didn't feel up to driving the distance home to Reykjavik after that. Turned out to be a very surprising and refreshing "mini vacation" instead of just a room to sleep last minute since the hotel & the whole building is an amazing establishments and so gorgeous plus also having a variety of restaurants downstairs, a cafe, as well a big shop with so much diversity (open 24 hours huge plus) for food, drinks, snacks, and other necessary items I happen to find out I needed last minute like for example birthday card and a wrapping paper. Amazing staff and atmosphere 👏

Location was beautiful and dome was fully self sufficient. Bedding was comfy and toiletries were available. Location had tea and coffee along with kettle and coffee machine.
Although we did not get to see the Northern Lights (which is why I booked this hotel), we very much enjoyed our stay! The scenery on the drive to the hotel is spectacular (if not a little scary if you're in wind/rain/snow), and the hotel is very, very cool! We enjoyed getting into the warm geothermal pool and sitting in the Northern Lights lounge after dinner. The food is fantastic and the staff was more hospitable than anywhere else we had experienced on our 10-day trip.
The design and modern architecture of this hotel was stunning, as was the scenery it was set against. I am not sure I can think of a cooler hotel I have ever stayed in. I loved the stilts and the spa that my son and I layed in at night watching the stars and hoping for the northern lights. The double ceiling bar was also super cool. The food was exceptional and were the cocktails. Staff were super friendly.
The hotel is off the beaten track and surrounded by cool scenery - the road through the Thingvellir National Park is really atmospheric. The hotel itself is comfortable and staff are very welcoming. The food at the restaurant was fab (highly recommend fish of the day and fish of tomorrow!), and the Northern Lights bar was good for a nightcap. Breakfast buffet was lovely.
The staff were really helpful. I travelled to the hotel with my elderly mother as she has always wanted to see the Northern Lights and on the second night we were not disappointed. The food was great and the staff really looked after my Mum when I went off to do the snorkelling experience.
Loved the atmosphere and service. Beautiful surroundings. Peaceful. The spa was amazing and used it to every day. Delicious food. Would love to come back again. It was my husbands birthday and the hotel treated us so well with some nice surprises in our room and at dinner. Simply amazing.
The dinner from the resturant is superb, the menu is kind of fusion cusine with Iceland/Nordic ingredient, very creative and impress me a lot. The pool is awsome too as you can enjoy the spa in a semi-open area which you can see the aurora and stars or galaxy together! The room is okay.
Hotel is unique and I've always wanted to stay here. The views are amazing! Hot spring beneath hotel have great views of the mountains and lava fields. Room was clean, quiet and well furnished. The food at breakfast and dinner were great. Lots of selection.
The entire facility was immaculate and even on a very rainy windy day it was great to sit at different vantage points in the hotel and enjoy the view. The Staff was also great in waking us up for the Northern Lights and sharing the experience with us.
Super cool and trendy hotel. Rooms are small. The pool is really nice, but it’s rather a plunge pool (knee deep). The northern light bar is magic!
You pay for the fame, but it’s worth it!
Iceland salmon for breakfast was a bonus. The view from here is spectacular and it's even better from the hotel spa. The location is pretty remote and incredibly beautiful.
The hotel was lovely and comfortable. A few staff were surly, otherwise, everyone was very nice. Seems those who came here to work from another country were more polite.
We loved the restaurant, the food for lunch and dinner was super yummy. The pool and spa was great and the lounge room was so nice to relax and have a drink or two.
