Spectacular location, good for walks in the nearby mountains...
Spectacular location, good for walks in the nearby mountains. Comfortable beds but poorly constructed building and furnishings. Underdone and unfinished, unsafe even. Unreliable hot water, Too expensive for what you get including the food. No TV, wifi or tea or coffee in the rooms. I’d expect this for €170!

We loved the remote setting!
We loved the remote setting! Sheep were grazing just a few feet away from our window. The nearby geothermal area of Hveradalir was the highlight our trip. Bathroom and cabin were clean and in good condition, I have not visited the dorm room, shared bathrooms and self service kitchen and therefore cannot comment on their condition. We always ate in the restaurant and were very satisfied. It is pricey, though.
