Spacious and comfortable room, plenty of space to park your car,
good breakfast with coffee, tea, yogurt, bread, cheese, cereals and assorted fruit. close to the airport. As I arrived very late, they extended the check out for another hour. Competitive price for Icelandic standards.

Perfect location if you need to catch a flight in early hours, the price is competitive comparing to other places around Keflavik. The double bed is a real comfy double bed instead of those fake ones which is combined by two single beds.
We are located in a walk-able downtown of Keflavík and only a mere 5-minute drive from KEF Keflavik International Airport. WiFI is available through out public space and guest rooms.

Everyone I came in contact with at the airport spoke English - a big plus for me as I don't speak Icelandic. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful to me. I had fish and chips from one of the restaurants and it was very good. There is a "Meeting Point" where I was told to go upon arriving at the airport and someone came and got me from there for wheelchair assistance, Very efficient. Unfortunately, there was a gate change for my aircraft and the wheelchair people didn't get the message so I had to push my chair - using it like a walker - and when the gate agent saw me, he was upset that I didn't have someone pushing me. He set me down and pushed me himself.

The town is situated near to the airport.
The town is situated near to the airport. We had spent the afternoon exploring the peninsula there, going right to the tip. There are two lighthouses there and a local history museum. (Free admission at time of visit). It was worth the visit. There is also a restaurant attached.
In the town, there is a main street with a number of shops/bars/restaurants, along with a supermarket. There is also a promenade for strolling along.

Keflavik is easily overlooked by many whom just go straight to the capital but honestly its such a nice little town, there's enough to see and do to last a decent amount of time and in comparison at least for me was more fun to explore than the capital!

Did not travel to Keflavik, we were there at the airport for a stopover. Thought we could tour a little as we had 10 hours but the cost of the bus fare and taxi was very expensive and for a family of four we decided to stay put. The flights are cheap but everything else, if you are on a budget prepare yourself to spend a lot of money on food and transportation. Very clean place, their tap water is amazing, air is clean. Would love to go back to explore but will have to save a lot to be able to fully enjoy Iceland.

Good location near the airport.
Good location near the airport. We moved here the day before our early morning flight. The friendly lady in reception stored our bags and called a taxi to bring us to Blue Lagoon. We learned that the hotel had a special deal with taxis so we booked the same taxi to bring us back, which gave us a bit of a discount. We took their free airport shuttle very early the next morning. The driver who was also in charge of reception was nice and friendly too.

Don't arrive after 2200hrs.
Don't arrive after 2200hrs. You won't get the room you've paid for. Don't rely on information from staff. They give you inaccurate advice re buses etc. The hotel is a 55km bus ride from Reykjavik - a once hourly service - or a $200 taxi ride each way. There is not even a vending machine to buy a softdrink, crisps etc. This place is an expensive bed and a shower and a 6km (aka AUD$59) taxi ride from the airport. Dont waste your money!
Very nice property overlooking the small marina of Keflavik. It is ideal to stay here if you have an early-morning flight from Keflavik Airport, as it is located only about a 10-minute drive from the airport. The rooms are very comfy, clean and beautifully designed. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful and the hotel offers a shuttle service to the airport as well as a small take-away breakfast if you need to leave very early for your flight. We highly recommend Hotel Berg.
No breakfast was provided. Great bakery 3 minute drive away. Ludvik is an excellent host. Very easy to communicate with and timely. His restaurant suggestions were spot on, and delicious. 19 minute drive to Blue Lagoon. 30 minutes to active volcano and only 5 minutes from airport. Place was extremely clean. If you plan on using this as a base to explore Iceland as the kitchen is perfect for making your own meals (everything you need).
The staff was very helpful and warm and friendly. Special mention must be made of Suza in the restaurant who was very efficient and extremely helpful. The hotel is just a two minute walk from the airport and they serve breakfast from 4.00 a.m. The breakfast was good and included cooked food. Even though close to the airport, we weren’t disturbed at all. The rooms were clean. We were on the 7th floor and had amazing views.
Great location near the airport, Blue Lagoon and the volcano. Nice restaurant with views of harbor, nautical motif, nice bar. Good morning breakfast included and free transportation to airport at whatever time requested. Bennie was a great host at this hotel; answered all of our questions, very helpful, cordial and did everything he could to make our stay a good one. Room was large, very comfortable bed, great shower.
Great location close to the airport but also quiet and tranquil. Free shuttle to the airport (but they don't pick up from the airport). Very helpful staff who printed out all the covid test and locator forms. Pleasant sea view from the room. Lovely restaurant for dinner with tasty fish. Great choice for a hotel the night before our flight. Free tea and biscuits. Good buffet breakfast.
Hotel is close to the airport with a free shuttle offered. It is also close to the village centre with restaurants close by. Although you may like to try the restaurant - we had an incredible meal. Also a lovely walk along the broad walk with lovely sculptures and views. Watch up for the funky wall murals :) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Berg
The continental breakfast was great with plenty of vegan options including plant-based milk for coffee. Self check-in was very easy and communication from hotel staff over email was prompt. Location was great- right near the water and walking distances to lots of shops and restaurants. Hotel shuttle is a taxi service which was very easy to use.
It's a Radisson. Everything you'd expect. Not a huge number of facilities in the hotel beside the bar and restaurant. Very close to the sea and also close to the Keflavik restaurant area with a petrol station convenience store next door. Well varied breakfast, even with instant noodles.
No breakfast.
The shuttle to the airport was very quick and on time/early -- very appreciated. I wish the host had made us aware beforehand that allowing 2 hours before a flight is not adequate at Keflavik.
The late-night check in procedure was clear and easy.
The entrance of the property and the lounge is very stylish, looks amazing and they have good breakfast.
Close to airport 10 min drive close to local shops and restaurants 10-20 min walk
The clinic service was very good also
Other good point is they have parking
Well located close to the terminal building and the car hire offices at Keflavik international airport. Comfortable, clean hotel. Pleasant food. A good choice if you have an early flight and want to stay at the airport beforehand. Free parking on site.
If you have a late arrival or early departure from Keflavik Airport, this hotel is the best one!
Very lovely staff
Very delicious breakfast with too many varieties
Oppotunity to pay by credit card in Euro without ISK exchange issues
Perfect hotel for an early flight. Breakfast starts at 4:00 am so most likely you can get something before your early flight. Not sure about the restaurant but nice little bar if you want a drink. Great value for the convenience.
Great looking and clean hotel rooms. Breakfast that was included with our room was a great buffet style. Dinner was restaurant style and had great food. Cute little bar. Easy food/snacks and drinks for purchase in the lobby.
We used the hotel for one night to be near the airport. The restaurant was very good. Check in staff were very efficient. If we had planned better, we would have gone to Blue Lagoon from there rather than Reykjavik.
Nice hotel near Keflavik airport. Reception is not open 24 hours so if you are coming late room key will wait you at the reception desk - functioning fine. Breakfast is self service.
Good location, free airport shuttle, strong Covid-19 cautions - take-away breakfast items. Good water pressure. Hotel is within walking distance of restaurants & marina.
