This could be the best rental in Iceland! It was clean, well equipped , well laid out and the location was out of this world scenic ! Just steps outside the door was a raging river, multi tiered waterfalls, a deep slotted canyon with a waterfall and incredible views of a glacier. The owner of this property is more than humble with the description of this property 😎. Great welcome area with friendly reception staff, decent sized room with attention to detail like rugs by the bed (for one of the larger sized hotels we stayed in) and a decent breakfast

I am sure there will be more activity and beautiful place to see in a nice day or summer. We are luck to get good temp in our trip (most day above the freeze and one day reached about 10C). We are not luck since there is no sun in all the trip except when we fly back to US. The mountain and beach are great even with cloud and frog.

Opportunity to see and enjoy beautiful untainted nature in...
Opportunity to see and enjoy beautiful untainted nature in the south of Iceland. Most of all we loved the Fjadrargljufur Canyon and Dverghamrar Cliffs and two wonderful glacier lagoons within easy driving distance, Fjallsarlon and Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. In the evening we had a lovely dinner at the Fosshotel Nupar.
Great place to view the Northern Lights in the right season.
