Such a beautiful place! We had an amazing stay and felt really at home. It is a very welcoming place and the big windows allow a beautiful view. And the kitchen is provided with everything you need.The silence, the snow, the backdrop of the mountain was absolutely magical.

Beautifully decorated home (all rooms including the toilet!) with a fully equipped kitchen. We stayed in the small twin room which fitted a small square table, a chair and a large bedside cabinet. The beds were comfortable and the shower/toilet was the most well furnished of all the places we stayed in Iceland - large sink, coat hanger and a bamboo chair! There was even a dog to play with in the cafe below :-)

The hosts were wonderful and so helpful and friendly. They encouraged me to do some of the activities in town (like the Oceanside hot baths). It was an experience I might have skipped and it was just wonderful. The house is quiet and super clean and comfy. But the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts really made it a special stay. The first is its stunning position.... from the kitchen we enjoyed a fantastic sunset over the icy bay. memorable. Then the apartment: clean, beautiful and comfortable, the furnishings are really particular and gives a cozy atmosphere. Car parking is just outside the door.

Obviously the location and spa is the main draw here, it's amazing. The restaurant was fine, not a huge menu but we self catered for most of our meals. The house we stayed in (The Clubhouse) was nice, fitting 4 adults and 1 child very comfortably.
