Grenivik Guesthouse, hotel in Grenivík

Set by the Eyjafjördur Fjord in central Grenivik, this property offers free parking and rooms with a flat-screen TV. The historical farm and church site of Laufas is 9 km away.

Our stay was extremely pleasant. Grenivik Guesthouse has been a beautiful surprise in the North of Iceland after days of camping. We would've definitely loved to stay longer to enjoy the peace, the comfort and the landscape. The house was very clean, our room was very comfortable and big enough for two, and all the common spaces were really well organized so we had our privacy but also some lovely interaction with other guests, and the hot tub has been a very pleasant extra to enjoy at sunset. But the best part of our stay was definitely Ingólfur, the host. His welcoming was very warm and kind, he was very open and helpful as a host, he gave us a lot of tips as soon as we arrived, and prepared us a really delicious breakfast with a lot of local ingredients. Ingólfur was also very kind to stay with us during our breakfast -and even longer- to talk with us about Icleand history, traditions, culture, geography and all the curiosities we had. He has a special place in our hearts.

Vellir Grenivík Home with a View, hotel in Grenivík

Featuring mountain views, Vellir Grenivík Home with a View features accommodation with a garden, around 39 km from Hof - Cultural Center and Conference Hall.

"Home with a view" is a little bit of an understatement. The view is absolutely breathtaking and even though our was slightly spoiled because of the weather (it was very cloudy and raining), it was still beautiful. The house is very spacious with few secrets along the way (I'm not gonna reveal them, so you'll can feel adventurous :)), there was everything we needed and more (due to weather conditions we didn't get to try the barbecue and the terrace). Everything was clean and tidy. I'd definitely recommend.

Grenevik is ideally located close to the mountains and the ocean and far enough from the hustle and bustle of city life. The drive from the city was great. We loved hiking and exploring the nature. Loved exploring by foot and by horse.
