Great apartment with lots of space, we enjoyed every minute of our stay! Beautiful scenery with fields and mountains! Lots of horses close to the apartment, they were so nice! The kids loved to interact with the goats which was definitely the highlight at Skálatjörn. The room was basic and not too big but just right for what we paid for and what we needed for 2 nights. Quiet location. Helpful to have a kitchenette in the room. There was already some basic things in the kitchen such as oil and salt (not sure this is standard in every room though, but it was in ours).
