The view was really peaceful, you could see the horses sunbathing outside near a small lake.
The room together with the private bathroom were really clean (was provided also shower gel). The bed was very comfortable. There was a kettle, that's always useful, with teas selection. The owner had been really kind and welcoming. It was our first night in Iceland and had been nice talking to such a friendly person.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming property owned by a wonderfully kind Icelandic couple. The house, brimming with character and an array of unique trinkets, offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere that reflects the rich history and care of its owners.
What truly made our stay memorable was the incredible hospitality of our hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome, from showing us around their beautiful farm to introducing us to their friendly goats and barn cat—a delightful experience for animal lovers.
For those looking for a genuine Icelandic experience and the opportunity to connect with local culture and nature, this is a perfect choice. We're grateful for the hospitality and the unique memories we've taken with us.

Heated bed pads were wonderful, especially if you put them on before you head to the lodge/shack for a drink with friends before bedtime! Remote location was easy to find and the being close to the sea and surrounded by Icelandic nature was perfect. Can’t wait to visit again.
