The breakfast was not good
No coffee, no bacon and almost like we should not stay long and enjoy!
So for 3400 per person is not good and we did not go the second morning

Everything new, clean, grea great great space in the room. Very good amenities, impecable room and common area. You get to take a shower in your own room before going into the lagoon, and then use the robe and sandals they provide for free to go there. Very functional bathroom, very modern and clean. Very confortable bed. Great lightblock from double curtains (useful during summer). Staff Paola was super super helpful.

Centre of Fludir has grocery store, a gas station and 2 hotels - all four located very closely across the street. So we could get full tank of gadoline to drive further and wr had really good breakfast in hotel, but for the evening got some food in the shop. We didn't spend much time there and sayed only for one night driving through from one destination point to anothes as we dind't find any interesting object to visit in this town.

Fludir is a small village/town along Golden Circle. Perfect to break up your road trip to take more time to explore more of the area. Our kids loved the Fludir park with giant bouncy pad and zip line. We loved the delicious, authentic Ethiopian restaurant -Minilik, just a few minutes drive from the B&B.

I have stayed in Fludir several times- there really isn't anything to see here (aside from the Secret Lagoon which is great)! Dining options are also pretty limited.
I usually stay to be close to other things I want to see- it is close enough to KEF and Reykjavik to make both easy drives and also very close to the Golden Circle and Gulfoss to get an early start and beat the hoards of visitors coming in from the city for the day.

The biggest draw to Fludir is The Secret Lagoon, a geothermal pool fed by a spouting geyser. The facilities are fairly new and clean... and the lagoon itself is "to die for," very warm and relaxing.
I would highly recommend staying at the small guesthouse located on site - Garður Stay Inn. There is a kitchen, living room/lounge area, information table and a good sized shared bathroom, but only 4 rooms, so in-season it will fill up fast. We visited just past peak season, so had the guesthouse to ourselves!
My only "negative" would be the lack of open restaurants in the area.

We had limited time in Fludir.
We had limited time in Fludir. We did the tourist thing at the Tomato Farm and had a delicious pricy meal, and picked up some groceries and fuel. It looked nice. The hotel restaurant was good and the Ethiopian Restaurant was being renovated and may be a good alternative in the future. The town is well located to be a base for which to explore many standard tourist activities and even more challenging adventures for those that seek more.
.. The night we stayed at hill hotal it was a clear cloudless night sky, we headed off from the hotel at 11pm and headed about 3 to 4km northward and saw the stunning aurora borealis. Incredible experience. Woke the next morning and drove 5 minute journey to spend the morning relaxing in the secret lagoon. The hill hotel is perfect location for many reasons anf just 35 mins from gulfoss falls.. Worth an overnight stay when you are travelling around the golden circle.
Mosas Cottages were just an idyllic way to start our stay in Iceland! The cottage was easy to find near Fludir, with great communication from the host on how to retrieve the keys from the lock box. The cottage was spacious, bright, and very clean. The views were out of this world. So peaceful! And the hot tub on the porch was my kids' favorite part of our day in the Golden Circle.
Wonderful and well equipped cottage in a wild and remote location. Great for aurora observation (if lucky!).
Clean and wide and panoramic.
Strategic location to visit Fludir and golden circle remaing away from crowds and pullmanns.
Very helpful staff (we had a small problem with the car). Unfortunately we had no time for the hot tube (biggest regret of the whole holiday!!).
This is wonderful place to stay for a night. Top of the tower observatory is perfect idea. Perfect to relax and watch the panoramic and sky views. Either day or night. We were lucky to get aurora (norther lights) off the bucket list. Amazing! Thank you for establishing this hotel and enabling us, tourists, to experience these views and exclusive accommodation.
The most comfortable beds we've slept in in ages, and definitely the most comfortable of our trip to Iceland. The room was very clean and cozy and we loved the underfloor heating. Access to the Secret Lagoon, as well as to a shared kitchen, were really nice to have. The staff was very welcoming and helpfully offered us guidance to food options in the area.
The apartment is big, comfortable, clean and locates very well. You can go to geysir or gullfoss in 20 mins, also easy to reach the small shop, petrol station and some restaurants around Fludir. The environment is very calm. only a little pity that the weather was not so good during our stay, so we cannot use hot tub which is very special.
Location was good, apartment was not luxury but nice. It was in a large building with others. One day someone in another apt burned their food and set off the fire alarm. Bedroom was nice and the bed in bedroom was comfy. Easy parking out front. Bakery right next door. Close to the Secret Lagoon. Good stopover on way to Glacier Lagoon.
Great location, close to everything a tourist needs. The room is huge, cozy and super clean, with a small kitchen and even a sofa. A breakfast is also included. A very fair price, compares to other places in this area. Although it's a very popular area, it didn't feel crowded, like you're in your own cabin and not a hotel.
Spacious apartment, it was clean and quite. We have booked a garden view room, and it has nice view, the other look to the parking. The bed and bedroom was big and comfortable also very warm. There is a restaurant next to the building, but it was totally quite. Fludir has a great therma bath wich is in a walking distance.
The breakfast was really good, sort of buffet with plenty of local options and the restaurant was really nice with a nice view.
The room was nice and very spacious but there were a lot of noises and no sound proof so we could hear our neighbors but apart from that, all was very good.
Not too far from Reykjavik and only a 10 drive to Secret Lagoon, the property was great for some seclusion and privacy in natural surroundings. Even though there's a twin cottage a few steps away, we only saw our neighbors when they were departing in the morning.
A lovely small guesthouse run by a nice couple. 5 rooms, super clean, 2 km to Fludir village and to the Sevret Lagoon. A must! The kitchen very well equipped, quiet at night, beautiful hills around. do not hesitate to stay there.
The home is spacious and has 2 bathrooms and a washing machine (but no dryer). The hot tub was enjoyed by our family as was the beautiful countryside location with horses nearby. The rooms were tastefully decorated.
