We booked the house when we were stranded in Seydisfjordur by a hurricane. The host was easy to reach out by phone and was very helpful in allowing us to stay inside the house a bit longer after the check out time so that we could figure out our plan.

Really nice basic unit with lamps and power plugs on both sides of the bed. Comfortable sleep in quietness. Staff were helpful. It was snowing lightly when we were there so it was dreamy to watch out the window at the snow falling in the woods. Common lounge area was quite pleasant with a drink

we actually had to extend for another night due to a storm shutting down large parts of iceland, but we were glad the hotel had the availability as the room was very nice, everything was clean and quiet and central, with walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets, and a helpful staff!
i had read mixed reviews somewhere else but could not confirm those, as we did not have any issues with noise, cleanliness, or the water!
