Exceptional staff here and at the companion facility the Hotel Karólína a block away (can’t emphasize this strongly enough). Breakfasts are absolutely wonderful and entirely worth the additional charge. Highpoint of our 3-week Iceland circuit!

So appreciative that it has a good restaurant on site, for our late-arrival dinner and for breakfast. The hotel was full of friendly fellow-travellers! A good spot to stay for our Snaefellsnes peninsula detour. Seems like it would be great for people interested in hiking and other outdoor activities, or really getting away from civilization, with a good restaurant and wifi! Great views of volcanic mountains in the distance.
