Nice new facilties. Hotel is in a tiny village that sits on top of geothermal springs - very cool seeing steam rising from the ground and hot houses that run on geothermal. Dining room on 4th floor has nice views through huge windows.

The hotel is brand new and beautifully decorated. It is located in a central area with low tourism activity, which is suitable for an extended stay. We stayed a week. We wanted solitude with access to hikes, mountains, highlands, waterfalls and glaciers, and we got it. The breakfast was also delicious. The staff is very kind and accommodating. (We love your hospitality, Judith! And it was a pleasure to briefly meet the owner too!)

Great stay with an amazing breakfast included. The showers had great water pressure and were very hot. The attached restaurant has reasonable price by Iceland standards.

My favorite place on the Ring Road! A cute little cottage with 2 separate bedrooms, a small kitchenette and nice bathroom. The bedroom was dark, and the bed comfortable. There were walking trails out the door, with games and signs about trolls and fairy tales. The grounds had a separate area for the camping huts and lodges, hot tubs, and cooking areas for campers. The restaurant was wonderful, with tables overlooking a falls. There is a ginormous record collection and you could request a favorite.

I wish I woulld have tried the breakfast but too expensive!
