We chose Fludir as a stop to go to Landmannalaugar. Not much too choose so we did not have too much expectations. Hotel looks nice and cosy. There is a hottub, that was nice. And you can get free bathrobes. The room is fine with a quite large flatscreen in comparison to the size of the apartment. Breakfast buffet included which was fine.

The property is well maintained and the owner is super helpful. He even called us when the Northern Lights were showing just outside. Everything is super organized even though he was fully booked. Amazing place just to chill or get ready for the next day.

Great cottage in the middle of nowhere ( but still driving distance of major attractions) it had everything that we needed. Everything looked modern and clean, the bed was very comfortable and we had Netflix available, which is a really great plus. Loved the stay and definitely recommend!
