I think Sombari which is mentioned here it is vary much wrongly mentioned because this location is called Sirikhola / Srikhola which is surrounded by Singalila National Forest and it is in north-west of Darjeeling District in West Bengal whether Sombari is in west Sikkim a different state but not far from this Sirikhola. Hopefully Booking.com make this correction soon and provide proper information. Although we like this place very much, the beauty of river Sirikhola and the beautiful five storied wooden mountain hut named Youth Hostel Sirikhola makes our short holidays fantastic. Delicious Bengali and Indian dishes we enjoyed here at Youth Hostel Sirikhola. Highly Recommended for leisure and to solo travelers because you will enjoy here hiking, short trekking, river crossing at sirikhola river, birding, biking, jungle safari by four wheel drive car arranged by Mr. Sengupta, and especially evening bonfire with guitar music and barbecued chicken at Youth Hostel Sirikhola river view lawn makes everyone's trip awesome. Thanks to Mr. Shubhashish Sengupta and his family the owner of Youth Hostel Sirikhola to make our trip memorable.
