The Island House is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The staff were so friendly and attentive. I loved the swimming pool, the garden and the terraces. There was always somewhere to sit, sip tea and relax in the most beautiful surroundings. The breakfasts were simply cooked and delicious.

I slept well in the two days there. The room was cosy, the bathroom was good - toilet (flush, spray), shower (hot water).
The pool was small but good for a relaxing swim anytime one felt like it.
Staff were all pleasant and proactive.
The room was peaceful.
The meals - the complimentary breakfast was lavish and nutritionally appropriate (fruits). Dinners were also healthy, wholesome and tasty.
Staff constantly finding out if required this or that.
Since we arrived early, they arranged to accommodate us right away at a cost. This was good as we are elderly and sitting around waiting would have been tough on us.
The two young ladies at the counter were affectionate and made sure we had a good time.
The manager very sweetly arranged for a complimentary dinner on our wedding anniversary and that was a lovely feast for us.
The place is ideal for a quiet romantic time.
There is an excellent restaurant at a reasonable distance and a bakery just around the corner as well as a booze shop.
