The location was amazing for a quiet getaway, the parties in the lawn notwithstanding. Its a great place if you want to stay in the hotel, but for everything else you need to have a car. Also, the restaurant needs a major improvement. Myt wife got food poisoning on the second day and the food was completely underwhelming. The place is situated in a tea estate, the least that could be done was to give good tea. But alas, that was not the case at all.

If the weather was good, it looked like I could see the good view from the room of Swastika, but I could not see clearly even the closest hill because it was too hazy. I heard from local people many times it is very hazy in April. Anyway it's not the fault of Swatika.
The family running Swastika was very friendly. They have a small and beautiful family temple on the top floor, which is good for meditation. The location is very convenient, close to everything - SBI ATM, jeep stand, supermarket and tea garden.

Amazing Host. He's very helpful and also very respectful. He's a call away for anything you'd need. We definitely shared a few healthy discussions as Kurseong is also the place we grew up in.
The place is amazing with the best view and facilities. Very neat, and cozy.
