Loved the stay for 3 days. The staff is amazing and friendly. They even upgraded our stay and made it even more happening. As soon as you wake up in the morning, you get to see the amazing view of the mountains. What else is needed. I want to give them a shoutout for their food. Too good. Gangtok is and was always my favorite destination.
Gangtok is and was always my favorite destination. Apart from rainy season one can visit there anytime. Not only it's own natural beauty and cleanliness, being the state capital Gangtok is having transportation access to every corner of the state. So, being stationed there one can visit a vast range of area of North Sikkim, East Sikkim and South Sikkim at the same time go directly to pelling, versay, Ravangla etc of west Sikkim or Darjeeling, kalingpong etc of west bengal. This is the 7th time ihave visited Gangtok, be it in summer time of April/may or spring time of October- November or cold winter months of December end- March middle. Every time it's mesmerizing beauty amazes me. For the adventure lovers also Gangtok and adjoining places is just a gold mine... be it trekking, mountain biking, zip lines, paragliding, rafting in teesta or rangit or rock climbing. I would suggest everyone to visit this place atleast twice. One in summer and another time in cold winter.

There are only a handful of options for sightseeing in Gangtok, so it's best to book a short 2 days trip if you're planning on staying only in Gangtok. The town mall is the best part in Gangtok. Beautiful vibrant atmosphere, and amazing nightlife! There are some very good spots located in various parts of Sikkim which are absolutely worth your time, especially North Sikkim and East Sikkim.

gangtok is a great place to start your sikkim exploration. nathu la pass shouldnt be missed. gangtok is a great place to start your trip into north Sikkim.
be sure to work with a good travel agent because most remote places in Sikkim need permits, even for Indian residents.

Wonderful city with breathtaking views! M G Marg is a delight for people who love to get some shopping done at affordable prices. M G Marg is also a foodie's paradise! Lots of different restaurants offering different cuisines.
The ropeway was a very good experience, we got to see the city from a bird's point of view! Namgyal Institute of Tibetology is worth a visit to understand about Tibetan and Buddhist culture.
The journey to and from Tsomgo lake, Nathu La pass, and Baba Harbhajan temple is filled with great scenery including waterfalls, snow-capped mountains, winding roads with hairpin bends, and a great view of Kangchenjunga!
Overall, a wonderful trip worth every penny!

It was a very pleasurable stay. We got so much help and hospitality and the host went out of his way to make our stay in gangtok as comfortable as possible. Even when we couldn't find a taxi to go for dinner, he drove us there since it was getting late and we were famished and tired after our journey. I will advise each and everyone visiting Gangtok to give this place a try, as this kind of hospitality is unmatched with other hotels and homestays I have ever been to. Thank you so much.
We stayed in this place for 4 nights during our Sikkim visit and it's a very good and budget friendly place for a family.
The staff is extremely courteous and well mannered. They are always ready to help. The rooms are the best part. We stayed in the Tripple Delux Room and they are huge compared to other hotels in the same price.
Also if you are Bengali, you will feel right at home because all the staff here are Bengali. The food is quite good too.

It is very close to MG Marg at Gangtok. We stayed for 3 days. Manager Alam helped us a lot. Even arranged everything for our Gangtok trip with very low cost. We had breakfast and tea together and sat in the room one day and had a great chat. I would highly recommend this hotel. You will get good service. And also you will get many room options. In short, you will get the best service. I stayed with my wife and mother. There will be no difficulty in staying with the family.
The location is very good. It has an option of taking breakfast & dinner but we didn't take that opportunity. The room, washroom, furniture all are neat & clean. Just 2 minutes walking distance of MG Marg from the room. SNT is almost 8-10 minutes walking distance, available restaurants are there.
Overall great experience. If I go at Gangtok in future I will like to book this hotel again.
One of the best stays ever. Owner Karmaji and their family members are very sweet. Best location, great view right from your bed just like shown in the Pictures . They provide a really healthy Breakfast n Dinner. They treated us just like their family members only. Whenever you go to Gangtok make sure you stay here at least for a Day.

The owner is a helpful person and a true gentleman. All the staff are very good. It is a new hotel and every room is spick and span. The kitchen prepared home like food for our preschooler and served good quality complimentary breakfast every day. There is a good restaurant located above the hotel. MG Marg is at a walkable distance from this hotel.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Gangtok. They were extremely accommodating and the sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend here.
It was only 3 minutes from MG Rd Mall...we took the short cut through a steep staircase just left to the Hotel entrance... That is the only pain point for visitors from the plainlands... Otherwise it's one of the best places to stay at Gangtok... 3 Star amenities at rock bottom price
The hotel staff is very helpful and welcoming. The hotel has a lovely view of Gangtok city. The ropeway and namgyal monastry are 10 to 15 mins walk away. You can easily get a local taxi to MG marg from the petrol station behind the hotel.
