I had overall good experience in Goa, my only disappointment is the Yashdeep - 100 meter Calangute Hotel. Don't trust the photos and reviews on website. Talk to your friends who have visited before to Goa. I had good experience booking self drive car and everything went through smoothly. You will get all types of food in Goa, but bit expensive. You will spend the most on the food, other things like traveling and stay will not cost you much. If you hire self drive car and a good hotel you will have memorable time in Goa.

Love Calangute because it is in between Candalim and Baga so...
Love Calangute because it is in between Candalim and Baga so everything is accessible. Has all the shops and restaurants you need on the main road and I find it’s cleaner and not as populated as Baga or too quite like Candalim.

As shown in booking.com is not sure at the property like rooms & very poor response from the yashdeep stay and they charge extra amount to cooking at the room, kitchen not included as shown in description, I am strongly recommend not stay in this property..

We stayed in suite it is more than enough for us(2 adult+2kids).seprate walking closet,seprate bathroom n washroom and three balconies make the room exceptional.guard,housekeeping staff,manager always greet you with smile.breakfast variety is sufficient and taste good.hotel is about 800-900 meters from calangute beach in between there is market,u dont have to go far for market.they keep hotel always clean either it is morning or late night.their f&b manager is very coperative.at check out time we meet hotel's GM,he is gem of a person.
everything about the property is wonderful. staff is polite , chef are very kind makes tempting food , loved all the desserts made chef themselves come and check if we like the food and ready to go beyond their limits to serve us. must visit property. very clean and nice rooms. overall a good stay at good rates. will definitely stay in this hotel next time i visit goa. location is also perfect. as both calangute and candolim beach are near by.
Location is excellent, the property is huge, you can comfortably spend a weekend there without once stepping out. The restaurant opens up directly on the beach, its a secluded section which is a boon on the usually crowded Calangute beach. Only feedback i have is on the food. the Ala-carte dishes in restaurant menu are good, however the breakfast buffet is inferior to the once we got in other hotels we have stayed in North Goa.
Rooms are very specious and beautiful for all groups.
The hotel served its best service in the area. Calangute beach is just 100 meters as per description. The ambience light and all are very beautiful
