I have visited Bhembadkar historic site and it's worth visiting if anyone like the oldest history of mankind, I have visited the tribal museum also worth visiting. The Van Vihar park did not impress me in terms of number of animals you can see closer.

Bhopal is rightly named 'The city of lakes'. The bada thalab (big lake) is amazing - about 48 Sq.kms, the fourth biggest in India with cruise, speed boats, paddle boats, peddle boats etc. There are other small lakes also. There is a zoo, near the lake and a museum too. There is a famous Birla Mandir (Lakshmi Narayan temple) on a hill. So many lovely parks including one Gulab park. Roads are wide, bus facilties good. It is one of the best state capitals in the country.

Beautiful, clean, quiet city -- reminded me of Chandigarh. Very different from most Indian cities. It has one of the best museums in the country plus sites on the outskirts like Udaygiri caves and Bhimbetka for the archaeologically inclined.

It is near the famous Sanchi Stupa (Buddhist holy site)...
It is near the famous Sanchi Stupa (Buddhist holy site) which is reasonably preserved. The several stupas are among the oldest surviving structures in India. There is also a very large,old Mosque in the city. Near Sanchi are some rock cut caves and stone sculpture.
The hotel is clean and well furnished. Comfortable rooms and bedding. Staff is very helpful and prompt. The front desk (Sudipta) and the housekeeping team ensured that all of our needs were met. We requested a room near the lift and a late check out - both needs were well.taken care of.
The coffeeshop has very good food options with a varied spread in the breakfast and evening buffets. Icing on the cake was the talented live musician who performed throughout the day on Sunday.
To begin with, Playotel Resort Bhopal has remarkable services. The cleanliness and hygiene are well maintained and the premises are well polished. Hotel follows all the protocols mandatory during this covid period, which makes the stay stress free for people traveling with family and kids. The stay was comfortable; the location of the hotel is easily approachable. The pick-up was timely and the check-in process was very quick. Overall an amazing stay.

Completely enjoyed our one night stay at the hotel. They were kind enough to upgrade us and we had a wonderful dinner at peshwari. Rohit at the front desk, Tanmay from bookings, Ratan and Monika at peshwari and Bholeshanker from Bhopal were helpful and made our stay so enjoyable. Highly recommended.

To be honest nothing great about this place, just a usual stay hotel. I came from the nearby city - Indore where I could easily find a far better and clean property at a lesser cost. Not sure why Bhopal struggles to have good hotel properties at reasonable rates.
