It’s a simple yet perfect place for people to stay. It’s perfect for a place to stay while until hiking or touring the area. Loved the woman who works in the dining room. She is so welcoming, and nice.

I liked everything about Asaf winery - delicious food and wine, exceptionally fresh and healthy, beautiful cabin and surrounding area, kind and friendly staff. We didn’t want our time there to end.

This was an awful experience. First, although it was supposed to take AmEx credit cards, the desk person claimed there was a problem taking mine. No one else has this problem. Then came the room, which was much smaller and different than the pictures. The sliding door into the bathroom was stuck at open. When I tried to jiggle it, it came loose and almost fell on me. As it was very heavy, this was dangerous. The bathroom itself was minuscule with a huge hollowed out rock for a sink, leaving no room whatsoever to place toiletries. To top it all off my last morning while I was taking a shower, someone came into the room without knocking. He must have had a key. Because the shower is exposed and the bathroom door was stuck at open, I was naked and in full view when this person came in. He quickly muttered an apology and closed the door. When I complained at the front desk, there was no explanation. DON'T GO TO THIS HOTEL.

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Yesod Hamaala
The whole complex is built as parts of a large house in the village of Yesod Hamaalah, in northern Israel. Each unit has a kitchenette, but there is also a central kitchen, and since we arrived with 10 people (plus an infant) we used the central kitchen, There is also an outdoor grill area, a small pool, and a jacuzzi. The whole complex is well shaded, the rooms are airconditioned, and the owner/operator, Reuven, was helpful with everything.
The hotel is right in the middle of the Hula Valley, so it's a great location if you want to explore this area. Our room was very large and clean, and the bathroom looked amazing and pretty fancy with a large shower. The bed was also very comfortable!
We loved the layout, cleanliness, huge rooms, the pool and gorgeous flowers and vegetation. Night time entertainment/singers were great. Breakfast was fantastic, huge variety to choose from. The hotel was close to so many attractions.
The hotel is in a beautiful setting with great amenities. Definitely catered to families with kids when we visited. The breakfast and dinner buffet was excellent and better than we thought!
