I liked the desert feel and the interesting lay out .of the facility, the decor of the rooms was original and pleasant. the staff were pleasant and helpful.
Wow, shocked at how bad this hotel is. I don’t think you can really call it a hotel. Tiny rooms, zero view, very run down. Hotel restaurant has some of the worst food we have ever had and is super expaive. The pool is a kibitz pool shared with residents.

Ein Gedi Beach is closed. But you can reach Kalya Beach by bus or car in half an hour. Or you go down south, there are plenty of beaches there.

There were a lot of houseflies everywhere! ;-( The place has potential BUT it is really not clean... I don't recommend it, it was torture for us to stay there. What more my friend hanged a lightly wet dress in front of our tent and it was stolen.

A gorgeous oasis in the middle of the dessert.
A gorgeous oasis in the middle of the dessert. Birds, ibixes, hyraxes. The David waterfalls is beyond gorgeous.
The hikes are great and moderately difficult.
bring LOTS of water and go first thing in the morning before the throngs of school kids come.

If you want to have a silent night, don't stay here. It's a very nice camping, with a lot of fun, but we had to get up early at 4.30am (to climb the massada), so the music which was still playing loudly till 11pm (or later) was just not a good option. But if you like fun in the evening, it's very excellent place. Thus I'll recommend it strongly in that case. The (public) bathroom is very clean.

We stayed in a superior room with beautiful view over the Ein Gedi nature reserve.
Breakfast and Dinner in the Restaurant were excellent with a huge selection of dishes.
Great service at the spa with relaxing salt and fresh watr pols
Exceptional - in the Botanical Garden in the Kibbuz, lovely apartment, lovely owner who even washed our clothes when I asked if I could use his washing machine. The whole Kibbuz and the "Zimmer" are a haven, an oasis. We decided immediately we will come and stay again if we will head to the Dead Sea next time when we fly to Israel. It was one of the highlights of our trip to stay here (and memories of my time as a volunteer in a Northern Kibbuz at the lake of Galilee came back at once ;-)).
The view was fantastic. You are right in the National Park and we did not need transport on Saturday which is great in Israel. Had wonderful opportunity to hike in the national park. The ruins of the old synagogue are beautiful and the archeological site is beautifully presented. Everything in the campsite worked beautifully and was well maintained. Authentic Israeli holiday with many Israeli families. Caravan very comfortable and clean. Everyone very helpful.
It's a humble flat, tidy and clean, if a bit dated. The double bed was comfortable. Sofa bed so-so. Kitchen had adequate dishes, cooking pots, etc. It's located in a kibbutz with a botanical garden. Has access to the hotel swimming pool. Five minute drive to En Gedi reserve. Host greeted us cheerfully, showed us the property and his reserved parking space. There were a couple of Ibex in the kibbutz.
Thank you for a good stay. We had a large family room with everything you need. near by the en gedi spa. (Unfortunately it was cosed). people were all very nice and helpful. And there was a good breakfast. We were there for one night, it was a perfect place for excursions in the wadi david and others. And of course for a bath in the dead sea.
Lovely Garden setting - the whole hotel and kibbutz area is an exotic garden with plants from all over the world. It is a
very convenient base for hikes - e.g. Nahal Arugot. Breakfast is good. The spa is small, with a tiny hot Dead Sea pool and a slightly larger outdoor pool. There is a separate, large outdoor pool.
The perfect place to stay if you want to save money on hotel, and have a camping experience with facilities like bathroom/shower. It is located in a very nice location, with nice view and very cool resting areas/beds in the shared spaces. The staff and bar/food are also very nice and accommodating.
Beautiful studio with very nice terras, overlooking the mountains and the Dead Sea. Clean bathroom with excellent Ahava shower gel and shampoo. The host is very helpful and prepared a little fruitsalad as welcome. Easy parking, a mini market nearby… perfect place to discover zin Gedi, Masada etc
Ranaan was very responsive and met us at the entrance. He explained us everything in the Kibbutz and also gave us valuable information about the Shabbat travel and shopping. He was very generous with the check out time and we enjoyed and appreciated that a lot! Thank You Ranaan.
Location is good. Stunning Dead Sea view and accessible to ein Gedi nature reserve. The VIP van is clean and well equipped. The taste of food is above average. Most of the staffs are nice and helpful.
It was wonderful staying in a kibbutz environment…felt extraordinarily safe, had use of a huge swimming pool, a few restaurant options and easy access to Ein Gedi, Massada and The Dead Sea
Fabulous campsite on the edge of the Dead Sea. easy to get to, great accommodation looking out over the water, lovely food on offer and such a chill vibe. absolutely loved it!
Excellent guided tour by founder member. The location is amazing , the dual view on both dead sea and the desert is breathtaking. The spa swimming pool is pleasantly quiet.
